UK has a brand new coach, staff and roster and has played the hardest schedule in the country so far and has not trailed at half. 2 out the 3 games against top 10ish opponents.
This is what gives me hope…because UK is still UK’ing and derping all over themselves.

The new HC is the real deal. He will need 2 full years before getting things in order to compete against top teams regularly.

Depth, speaking. They gave alabama everything they wanted and more. They’ve done the same to us today. I suspect we can wear them down assuming we start finishing drives. But we’ve got to stop giving up big plays.

We’ve got good talent starting. Just lack the depth.
Some of our fans are gonna be really unhappy because of the brutal schedule but think we’re building a good foundation. It’s not going to really show up until next year or in year three IMO.
