Truth is nobody looks elite right now, Ohio State lost to Texas, Bama lost back to back games, we lost to Auburn, LSU lost to Ole Miss, Ole Miss got rocked by Florida, Indiana is struggling with Michigan, and Texas Tech is getting whooped by Cincy

No BUT Auburn fans will figure out just like Mississippi State fans will figure out that that offense is not sustainable in the SEC when it isn’t working. The high tempo offense isn’t some impossible to crack code. It relies on mismatches on defense and exceptional quarterback play. If you don’t have either one of those, the defense wears out. You will notice that Heupel, who mentored both Lebby and Golesh, has modified it. Tennessee’s defense has carried them 2 out of the last 3 seasons not the offense. You cannot field a great defense when the offense is scoring in under 2 minutes or punting. There is no in between when time of possession is 3-1 unless you can put up 40 points a game and it’s quite clear Auburn cannot
