At this point how can anyone be a fan? I'm just asking, how can someone enjoy watching their team, having watch party's, go to the games when you know disappointment is guaranteed?

The same way we'd still be LSU fans if it was us.

One day, a special season will happen for them.

I don’t. They are slightly more hapless than my team.

Man you’re melting bad. We aren’t that bad. We lost to Bama, it sucks but it’s per the norm. Our best team ever couldn’t beat them in 2014

We beat Mizzou who just throttled Florida who throttled ole Miss. it’s the SEC. If KT and Fluff can get healed we could turn right around and beat lsu or Texas.

Nah. They can’t even hope for a special game. At best, lock in on a great play and celebrate.

That was the joke……

As far as OP’s question, I’ve essentially just quit watching or caring. Been hanging out with my kids today at a local festival. Checked the score when i got home…was 31-7. No surprise. I just laughed and turned it off.

I’ll be a hog fan again once basketball and baseball seasons hit. Maybe once we fire Silverfraud we can get a decent coach.

Dawg, we are the walking dead on both sides. We have zero depth.

You focus on the experience and the friends/family you are with. The outcome of a football game doesn't affect me though. I enjoy watching but I'm not going to be pissy if my team loses.

Arkansas will never do anything in football.

They have turned into a perennial loser.

We play them in Fayetteville next year, hope they’re decent then.

Good for you for being loyal to your school. That's what this thing was supposed to be about anyway. You support athletic programs because you support your university.
Now that we're in the pro model of fandom you have loads of bandwagoners. A lot of LSU fans now don't know what it's like sitting in the stadium during some of the down years in the late 80's and early 90's when we were getting our doors blown off every week.
Things are cyclical and there will be a time when Arkansas football will be successful again. And the alumni and supporters that hung on will be rewarded for their loyalty. However, that doesn't change the fact that it is a dark time right now in Fayetteville. I can certainly understand the frustration and hopelessness of the fanbase.
