Hiring Chad Morris didn't work out?

Dabo should be fired for that hire alone.
-Morris never won an SEC game at Arkansas and was fired before he finished 2 full seasons.
-Then he became Auburn’s OC and that tanked the offense and got Gus fired.
-After that he was hired as the Allen High School head football coach in Texas. He tanked that program in just one season and they fired him.
-Next he was an offensive analyst at USF for one season before getting fired in 2022.
-Then he was an offensive analyst at Clemson for one year in 2023.
-After that he was the WR/PGC at Texas State for one year in 2024 then quit after the season.

My jaw hit the floor when his hiring was announced. I knew Dabo was cooked before they ever snapped the ball.

He wasn't a good hire, but I think that Dabo's refusal to use the transfer portal is a bigger problem.

He flamed out as a high school coach a few years ago in Texas.

I wouldn't think Morris was a bad OC hire solely on the basis of his Arkansas HC tenure (there are guys who are good OCs but bad HCs), but he's stacked up as incredible amount of failures in his post-Arkansas HC days. He'd have been looking at under-8 Pop Warner League position coaching job offers if Clemson hadn't hired him as OC.
