Has an ineligible player ever won the Heisman?

Bush had his retroactively "revoked", but I don't recall a player being ruled ineligible by the NCAA ever winning one.

The rules states,
“The recipient of the award MUST be a bona fide student of an accredited college or university including the United States Academies. The recipients must be in compliance with the bylaws defining an NCAA student-athlete.”

Billy Cannon became a convicted felon after winning it. This has only happened to a former LSU Heisman winner and OJ

Nah, LSU will be fine over the next decade.
But as I've said before, I will take any and every opportunity to point out the hypocrisy of the NCAA, the SEC, Sankey and Ole Miss fans as it pertains to Chambliss being ineligible yet still being able to play without anyone saying a word about it.

It’s because theyre DEI and were supposed to allow it
