I’m in Hoover, I’m getting strong winds, threats of heavy rain and sporadic lightning - it’s actually kind of nasty - this has to be what just blew past Tuscaloosa a few hours ago….

Not in the upper air pattern we’re in. The upper air dynamics this time of year are odd. Later in the fall when the jet stream is atop us you’ll see the usual east to west motion, but right now it’s not unusual to see storms moving every which way.
