Great history in those games. Some of the very best college football teams played in those games. Sometimes it was the de facto natty.

I seriously hate what college football has become. Tighter NIL regs, salary caps, limited or even reverse conference expansion, and transfer limits could have kept the golden goose alive a little longer.

Game was pretty much pointless with 12 team playoff. Now, there’s no need for it. 8 team playoff was way to go and it would have just meant more.
