So, imagine a football game where you have one guy coaching LSU and Gruden is coaching the other team, what candidate do you think we'll be able to get that'll make you feel like, we got this. Emphasis on who we can currently get, so that rules out Kiffin, Saban, and many others. Gruden vs Sumrall, Gruden vs Morris, Gruden vs Lashlee, Gruden vs name whoever you want, and if it remotely sounds like an even match ill agree. Otherwise, wtf are we talking about here.

Name recognition is all you need, you see the polarizing nature of the name, but I have yet to hear why he shouldn't be, other than, DEI'd e-mails. Coming from a fanbase that cheers "neck". Oh, but the emails are going to hurt recruiting they say, until the NIL check is signed. He's well-liked by veteran football players of all levels, white or black, so stfu about e-mails.

Nah let's keep trying for coaches who are at their alma mater, some G5 hotties, or a grandpa who would rather be watching monday night football instead of blowing out his birthday cake. Let's not get the guy with a chip on his shoulder, well known, eats, sleeps, drinks football. Downvote and have no other viable options you fing clowns. :doublebird:
Gruden....That is all.

How retarded are you folks? Nobody gives a flying fck who hires the next coach, the hire is the only thing that matters. If osama bin laden hired a NC winner, people would call him mother theresa.

how do you think recruits would take those old emails that got him fired
not the same way you do.

No college program building experience
so who you got, a 2 yr G5'er, ask Florida,
pedo state leftovers?
try to pull a coach from where they grew up wanting to be their whole life or played there?
nothing like the NFL, so that rules out Brady.
He is the best candidate that we can get. I'll repeat it one more time, if he goes to Florida, we're fing cooked for a while.

Those are your cons? The college game is more like the NFL than it has ever been. Everyone here should go watch his videos, learn something about football. You selling your tickets because he sent some emails? The irony of people on here talking about baggage and then asking for the band to play neck. WIld.

Aint no way you have better candidate.
Hire....

Gruden and be done with it, staff can be in place before recruiting starts, kids know who the coach will be, get to work instead of watching the sand keep slipping through the hourglass.

Cute jokes. Most opposition to Gruden is jokes and "No".

Comparing any year pre portal NIL is pretty sound logic.

Yea, I suppose you're right because these names really get you fired up....
Sumrall
Brady
Franklin
Drinkwitz
Brohm
Key
FIsher
Lea
Lashlee
Dillingham
Mullen
Golesh
Campbell
Let's say it's LSU vs Florida, and Gruden is on one side and any of these are on the other, what do you think the chances are?

Easily should be the #1 candidate, since we know Kiffin isn't leaving Ole Miss. He's expressed a want to coach in the SEC, he lives and breathes football, with NIL and transfer portal could plug and play. Could and would adjust in game. Most of the armchair nancy's don't like his personality, so it has nothing to do with him being a good fit, it's a personality thing for them. He's active in the social media sphere which fits well with recruiting, he's good with QB's, has a rolodex of assistance he would call on. Could be in place before the season is over. Seems pretty obvious to me.

If Gruden goes to Florida, and LSU has to compete against Gruden, Kiffin, Smart, and Deboer, expect 3 losses a year guaranteed for at least a generation.
Gruden is the best candidate for LSU, with the number of jobs open, and the small pool of talented candidates, he will get a job somewhere. Ask yourself, would you rather go against him or have him on your side? He will be formidable anywhere, he will scheme the ish out anyone, and he will be able to recruit.
