I can see Nico staying, but I'm not sure Lester can improve his draft stock much by coming back.

Talking about Belue getting caught up in the numbers crunch? I don't think he will but if he does he does. We recruited him out of highschool and he didn't make the grade for that class. If we don't have a spot for him this time then that sucks for him.
I actually can't think of one player since Saban has got here that committed to us, went JUCO, made it back to UA and had any kind of impact. Our JUCO impact kids never signed with us out of highschool and the ones we let back just eat up a spot. I actually like Belue and hope that's not the case with him

Pretty sure Lester is gone. He'll be a 3rdish rounder, but yeah, can't improve stock anymore

Quentin Dial, not Preston.

Ya, I realized as soon as I hit submit.

Good catch on Quinton Dial. I didn't even think of him. Liked him a lot out of highschool and glad he came back
Still though, one in 5 years isn't great.

Isn't he 1 of only 3 in 5 years?
Dial, Murphy, and Lewis.
Dial looks primed to be a starter next year, Murphy has Greg Oden knees(yet he had a good 2010 season), Lewis is the only one who really hasn't done anything. He has a few moments in 2010, now he's Bama's 2nd blocking TE...

Yeah, I think that's all of them. I guess it's that they mostly don't make it back. Regardless, Belue will be a member of the class. My only point is that I wouldn't feel bad if he didn't have a spot 2 years after we initially offered him. Thats the price for fricking around in school.

Belue apparently made his grades and will enroll in January. He will not count against the 25 as he is an EE.

CJ Mosley/Nico Johnson next year = awesome.
It'd be cool if Dont'a and Kirkpatrick stayed, or at least Dre, but Dre is a 1st round pick and Hightower is anyway from late 1st to late 2nd from what I've seen in mocks.

Saban's was chatting with Cal Ripken while on a recruiting visit to see Cyrus Jones. If all else fails, he'll have some great baseball stories to share at his next press conference.

Especially because in the NFL Draft teams put a premium sometimes on S, and it is as much about scheme and since Lester has played 3 years in Saban's pro style scheme, if he does well at the combine he will be 3rd or 4th rounder for sure

Belue will be there in this class, he fills 2 needs this class has as a long armed fast CB and a great PR/KR
The finish is starting to take shape fellas, also interesting that the staff is gonna take A.Taylor commitment, me and Magilla discussed this yesterday, might signal the staff knowing or pretty confident in landing Goldman and the talent of the guys already in place. Also important to remember Alphonse is an EE so he will get the proper coaching to make his way back to NG from OT he has played the last 2 years. I'm excited about the possibility of how monumental Bama's class will be this year. If we finish like most people in the know expect, it will turn some heads and bring some very serious talent into the fold for next year.

I think we can sign 29. We only signed 22 last year, and Aaron Douglas.
