Dude. Fulmer was at Tennessee for two years while Saban was at Alabama. One of those years Saban was 6-6. Pretty sure you showed us your keen insight is in need of a tuneup.
He was getting whipped on the field by Alabama. 41-17 in 2007 and 29-9 in 2008. But worse was the atrocious recruiting in Fulmer's last 2-3 years. He was getting outworked. Fulmer was likely on his way out anyway, but Saban helped expedite it.

Chizik coached against Saban for 4 years and one of those years he (Chizik) won a National Championship. Chizik beat Chizik after that, not Saban.
Chizik was a strange case. Held his own in 2009. Won the title in 2010. Recruited extremely well. But then lost 42-14 and 49-0 to Alabama in his third and fourth seasons. 3-9 gets anyone fired, but losing like that to an in-state rival makes the call on firing him easier.

Saban had nothing to do with Fulmer getting fired lol.

Like said, he was already on his way out. But getting your butt outworked on and off the field didn't help. He actively campaigned for the rule that kept head coaches off the road during spring recruiting. The "Nick Saban" rule.

Saban was 3-2 against Freeze.
Bama won in 12, 13 and 16.
Ole Miss won in 14 and 15.
You are right. I fixed it.

Right. Getting waxed by your main rival and their brand new coach 2 years in a row and spanked on the recruiting trail by Saban played zero factor in his firing.

How many times has there been a recruit who hasn't even been mentioned with bama as an option having a bama hat on the table? Lol always get a chuckle from it.

Is Isaac Taylor-Stuart not a take for USCw. I read USCw turned away a top 100 Safety and a top 150 DT because of numbers(needs). They will sign a small class. How is this looking for Bama?

I know Alabama fans don't believe its possible but the fall has to start at some point. I think it starts this year in the College Football Playoffs when Kirby and UGA beat Saban and Alabama for the national championship. And then I think recruiting at Alabama takes a slight downturn.
The 10 year run of unprecedented dominance will end soon.

Serious question, if Bama don't get off to a fast start to '19', Would that officially put the fan base in panic mode?

I'll officially be in panic mode if we go more than two years without winning the NC. 2013-2014 were dark times my friend.

Alabama is signing 3* TE Michael Parker now.

Absolutely. We only have 8 DL on scholarship and we will lose 2-3 after next season. We desperately need 5-6 DL and probably 4+ LB's. So, yeah, we need to get off to a good start. Saban brought in some younger, more dynamic recruiters, so hopefully that pays off. Basically, if you're a blue chip DL recruit, you'll have a much better chance of playing from day 1 than at most of the other blue bloods.

Fast start? No. They just turned over 1/2 the staff in January. They'll need until fall and official visits before I start worrying too much.
I'm fairly confident they'll have a top 5 class in 2019.

I don't care if it's top 5 or number 1. If we don't have 5-6 quality DL, 4LB, 2RB, and 2-3WR we will not have met our needs. Fill those spots with those numbers of quality players and we're the #6 class and I'll be thrilled.

Saban and Bama got their asses kicked today.
