He couldn't beat 'em, so he joined 'em. The math checks out.

PFF graded him out at 80.9 last year when he started 13 games for ND...seems pretty good to me

Alabama wanted him too. Not sure why people are dogging this kid.

Because he signed with Georgia, and the Auburn, Florida and Tennessee fans have been completely broken.
They snap at the mention of UGA like an abused puppy.

I read that he wants to play in a run heavy league.
But that was on the internet.

My goodness, will this thread ever end????
Let's just say this - both teams got good players who definitely meet a significant need for each team. Will they be stars? Probably not, but we both had some holes to fill, and both teams accomplished their objectives I believe.

Y'all are being so damn defensive I didn't come here to talk negative about your new player but yalls insecurity tells me y'all know its a meaningless addition.
You came in here and said Auburn signed a new OLineman to block a Georgia recruit. And you did it in a thread about the Georgia recruit. Why try to change the subject to Auburn? This thread is about a Georgia recruit, not an Auburn recruit. Start a new thread about your recruit if you want to talk about him.

This guy has one career sack and never started a game but isn't mediocre?
Notre Dame apparently considered him a starter:
Hayes’ transfer comes as a bit of a surprise to a defense that was returning 10 starters, now nine.
Are you right or is Notre Dame?
Nobody expects him to come here and start, but he will get a lot of playing time. As for only one sack? he is known as a run stopper, something we felt we needed.

I think Auburn needed depth along their Oline and Georgia needed depth along our DLine. Win/win for both programs.

Hayes started every game for ND in 2017. Not only that, PFF graded him at 81.7 against the run, which is better than anyone on UGA, ND or Auburn’s D-Line. Also, he was graded 80.9 overall, second only to Ledbetter (81). A reputable scouting service says Hayes is an upgrade over Trent Thompson and John Atkins.
Do some research dipshit.

Hey guys, let's just go ahead and switch gears to Auburn because that's what Bowl's intentions were from the start

Dude is one of the worst posters on the SEC board, easily

Why would a DLineman want to play in a run heavy league?

Quite a leap there when only Bowl is dogging the guy.

If it improves your draft stock then why not?
From the little I've read abotu the guy, he was used as a pass rush guy early in his career which is not his forte at all and he struggled. Last year they put him on the strongside of the line and he excelled in run support which his PFF numbers bare out. If he can come to the SEC and continue to show his stuff as a run stopper I dont' see why it'd be outlandish to say what the other guy said. I also have no clue if that's actually correct or not.

His specialty seems to be best at stopping the run. If he can pump up his numbers he can possibly improve his draft status? Just a guess.

So basically no one knows anything about this guy
Not criticizing btw. I don't know anything about the OLine transfer we just got either and I'm excited just because it was a position of need.
