Wait, a UT fan thinks it's going to be shady if he signs with Auburn? That's probably the richest thing I've read on this board in a long time.
The school he spent most of his fall at who went to the SECCG and played in a NY6 Bowl with a best friend on the team and an in tact coaching staff vs. a school that's been recruiting him for like a month that hasn't been relevant in over a decade. Which one seems more likely?

Lee County makes Knoxville look like Paris, really isn’t a hard sell lol. He’ll get better coaching at Tennessee and will start day 1.

Early playing time is a powerful tool. It was a big reason we got Monty Adams and Derrick Brown. Relationship with the coaches is another.

As a Bama guy I hate UT, but I wouldn't laugh at that staff. That's a solid bunch. They'll recruit well, coach well, and compete in the east.

Apparently Kirby is doing an in home visit with Reese on Saturday while Quay is on his official visit.
Either he's extremely confident, or he's conceding Walker to Tennessee/Bama/Auburn
Also, CBs are rolling in for Reese to UGA

I highly doubt we're outright "conceding" him... if Kirby needs to work magic to massage the numbers and get Quay in... I'm pretty confident he'll do it. But with that said, I think at the very least it's safe to say we'd have to have a pretty killer OV with him this weekend to sway him. Lot of reading between the lines necessary.
If we have to lose Walker, Reese is a hell of a "consolation prize". I put Reese's ceiling slightly higher, but Walker is a lot more polished already. If UT lands him, it will be a hell of an addition... as several have noted, you guys are going to need a centerpiece LB or two with the transition to a 3-4.
