Why does it even matter to you if he sunshine pumps? Just don't read him. I don't (and never have) yet the world has continued to rotate. Hamm, like Sonny, Shea, Jimmy, Liucci, and the million other shills, all play to their audience. If they don't do this, they'd be out of the business fast.
The fact that y'all can't see this obvious fact and let it blind you with hate is truly sad. And the fact that this causes you to consistently throw little tantrums in various recruiting threads makes this place miserable. Recruiting can't be discussed at all. This thread had absolutely nothing to do with this topic.

They're all homers and biased. All of them. I will occasionally pay for a month of info from Liucci, who is a bit of a tool and total homer, but he has good info. I have consistently found that when he says that we have a chance with a kid, that we either get that kid, or at least get a visit and are in it to the end. There have also been some high profile guys who others sites have said we were in it for, and Liucci said we were on the outside looking in.
Liucci shows his homer tendencies NOT by saying we are in it for kids when we really aren't (he doesn't do that much, if at all), but by playing up the kids we get and playing down the kids we miss on.

There's a difference..huge difference between
1. acknowledging that a recruit is trending (something he felt Daylon was doing) towards a school and also mentioning the other school that's very much in the race
And
2. Picking a player to go to your school, blow quotes out of proportion, and ignore certain schools when writing the article about said player, especially when said player is leaning towards the ignored school
I'll let you guess who is who, after all, you have that illustrious Aggy degree, right?!
I dont even like Hamm but acting like Shea and Sonny are the lone beacons of true bipartisanship and have zero bias is laughable. Every single one of these guys play to their audience as they should.
As for your distinction:
1.) So you're saying Shea has no clue what he is doing because not only was he not trending LSU, but committed to A&M within 2 months of his crystal ball prediction.
2.) Hamm and Perroni are currently 100% on predictions for 2015 kids so what are you even talking about. And just the other day Hamm said that he didnt think A&M would land a guy that has 10+ predictions and 100% crystal ball to A&M.
So just so I'm clear, if i were to pay to subscribe to the aggie 247 website, I should expect the beat writer to pick aggie targets to commit to other schools, downplay positive quotes and talk about how interested they are in other schools?

That's exacty what it is. The biggest downside to joining the SEC was all the sidewalk fans. It's offset by many other great things, but it doesn't mean we still don't like having to deal with slackjawed inbreds like yourself.

So Chigbu isn't going to get an LSU offer?

LSU isn't gonna waste their time by offering.

No one seems to have any issue with Perroni. He's pretty straightforward and not a douche.

I honestly didn't know that the ROTC program at A&M was on the same level as going to the Citadel or VMI.
I can see why such pride is taken in it.

Hamm is a hack...throws stuff out there.
He lost his A&M credentials due to pissing off the Fball staff

Looch is a good dude and is pretty careful about what he puts out there....I RARELY have seen him Downgrade a stud that the Ags don' t get either. NO ONE has the kind of access he does either.
He is a little dry and sarcastic, but all in fun.. He will bite back if attacked though.

This is going to come off the wrong way but oh well. I value every single one of my subscribers and your opinion. Something I want you to take into account. I started this thing, passing up opportunities to go work for TexAgs (which would have been the easy route) and other great opportunities to start GigEm247 and I've grown this thing into one of the premier sites on any network. I did this without a name for myself when I started, in a saturated market and probably the toughest market out there, and I didn't look back with the opportunity given to me by 247Sports. Now I have one of the best in the business helping me out with recruiting (Perroni) and it's time to show you all, as well as my competitors that I'm dead serious about the longevity of this site by reinvesting. I don't want this to be just a pure recruiting spot for Aggies. I want it to have the best analysis, community, scoop, coverage AND recruiting news. My vision isn't near complete, but whatever happens in the future, know that things will done the right way and under my full control. I've had the opportunity to learn from some of the greats in this industry so I know what works and what doesn't. The people here concerned about what decisions I make about the future of this site underestimate my abilities and foresight greatly. I'm not going to lose control of something that I've poured my heart and sole into for almost four years. I also believe in this network and everyone involved with 247Sports. Trust me please

Project P..
A&m commissioned 20k officers for WWII, more than Annapolis/ West Point COMBINED.. A disproportunate share of battle devorations also, 6-7 MOH of honor recipeints. The Cadet Corps was 6-7k in it's hey day. (2.5/3k ) now.
VMI, Citadel , Va Tech, and A&M are the only schools outside the academies that can commission
officers. ..

I've had subs at all four major sites for Aggie recruiting info: 247, Rivals, Scout, and Texags. And at one point I had subs to both Texags and Gigem247 at the same time. Hamm's info has been the best, hands down. In fact, it looks like Tarp, the main mod for the Rivals site, is leaving AggieYell to move over to Gigem247.
