Reading an article about Braun today makes me think USCe is definitely in this for him.
He wants to major in international business and Columbia has the best IB program in the country.

Florida feels good, but reporters suggest we have to hold off Georgia and South Carolina. He’s been to UF several times so far.

I normally agree with a lot of what you say, but calling those guys "total" whiffs seems a bit overstated, don't you think?
Right now we have 3 4* DT's committed, and are still going after another one. Then we are in it for Burch, Ojulari, Henry, Hardy and Walker....it just doesn't look that bleak, to me.
I get your point that he hasn't recruited up to some other staff members, but he also pulled in Brenton Cox and Jordan Davis. Davis is looking pretty good for an undervalued player.

The thing that helps us most with Tim Smith is that I don't think he has a spot at Clemson.

True, but 247 holds out their own 5* rankings for a bit. They moved him up to 19th nationally... Functionally it's the equivalent of a temporary 5* given that they usually award 30ish by the end of the rankings updates.
