Doubtful. But the only other pure DT I think we've been targeting has been Jacolbe Cowan IIRC? He has a longer standing relationship with Tray Scott...
If Scott keeps Carter, lands Cowan, and then pulls in Burch and maybe Zykevious Walker, this will be a very solid showing on the DL in 2019. Should be enough to at least quiet those who think he should already be fired (NCDawg
)... Particularly if the DL performs at a high level this season as well.

Gotcha. We have Gervon Dexter and Johnnie Brown committed and if we get Tim Smith, then we should be done at DT and that’ll be a really good haul for us at our biggest position of need. We may pursue Warren Brinson as well, but I don’t think he’s a take right now.

I was entirely kidding... You know that we don't disagree significantly on this front... I definitely agree Scott has been the worst recruiter on the staff thus far... but with the possible haul above, I'd say he might possibly have the best year of anyone not named Pittman, McGee, or Hartley (possibly 2 5* TEs and responsibility for QB a bit tough to top).

I knew Rivers was leaning Miami regardless. I’m not sure Chantz is a take for us either.. he may be a little... sweet for our defense?

According to interview with Tate Ratledge, we are still actively recruiting him... Pittboss seems to like him. Dunno whether we would be able to pull him as the 3rd/4th highest rated guy just in this class vs the recruiting board/playing time situation at UF right now... But we at least seem to be interested.

We will take one more OT. Likely to be Braun. I think he is the least impressive of our options, but apparently Pittman loves him.

Totally whiff for back to back classes is one way to set yourself up for a strong haul. Haha.
Seriously, I hope this means he is turning the corner. If he turns into even an average recruiter our defense will become nasty.

Scott ain't bad, he ain't good either, but who looks good when your counterpart has NFL ready OLs.
Jordan Davis looks like he could be the highest drafted interior lineman in a while when he declares and you have to give Scott credit for the development so far.
I think those Tenn DL have a chance to be anchors on the inside especially Zogue. He could be another Davis in the making.
