I'd also like to say Tim had a great week at the UA games. He's a great player. nice get.

I doubt you will find many LSU fans "jealous" on this pickup for you guys. Good get on your part but we cooled off our recruitment on this guy some months ago. Like someone else pointed out, both Miles and Krags sons played with Tim so I trust if he was a must get for us, they would have given him the full court press until the end. For whatever reason, we didnt recruit him as hard from about October on. Im sure you can go on the LSU RB and see all the threads that popped up on this subject around that time until now.

You obviously missed the typical response from LsuTool. The poster shows up in every thread related to Alabama. It comes off as jealousy.

There is conflicting info coming from your side on this. Some say LSU cooled, some say they didn't.

If they cooled I want to know why.

If they didn't, and it's internet soldiers towing the company spin line, I'd like to know that as well.

Yeah, dont follow him too much. Anyways, good get for you guys. Going to be fun to see how both classes fill out in the next few weeks. Also, will be interesting to see when TW picks up that 5th star now.

Jealous because a backburner recruit for both of our staffs chose bama?

Nah, just unfortunate a young man leaving his child. Maybe they'll move with tim to bama. He's gonna miss out on a lot.

I'm sure UA will find a way to get the kid a sitter. That way, Tim can stick around his senior year to improve his draft stock and not need to bolt like an LSU guy with kids....

The jdg89456769er guy hasn't showed up yet though.

I'm sure he's already called the kid a traitorous thug already on the LSURB by now. I love that guy.

Doubt it. He's a prime redshirt candidate. Very raw, but with some time in the weight room and college level coaching he'll do very well. Just needs someone to keep him motivated and high level SEC ball should be more than enough.

It's not if. It happened. But there never a definite reason given.

It's pretty evident by our current commits that we haven't really been counting on him being a part of the class for quite some time.

If the reports didnt come up so early in the season I could reason with the company line spin but just dont see it with the way this all came about.

This. In all honesty, I think Tim Williams will be a stud linebacker, but it was reported as early as this morning by LSU paysites/sources that the staff had nothing to do with Williams moving forward.

There aren't really any real "conflicting reports" on that other than a small group who seem to swear that LSU was and still is recruiting Williams, though nothing about his recruitment over the last few months would support that.

Case in point, Williams and Beckwith were considered to be at the top of LSU's board for much of this cycle, yet Williams hasn't received an in-home visit while LSU visited and contacted Beckwith multiple times over the few weeks.

Paysites have been saying Williams would not be in this class. Then about 2 weeks ago there was some chatter that Williams began talking with LSU more. The feeling was that he may want to stay home because of his kid. At this point the mods said that while they wouldn't likely turn down Williams they weren't going to press him.

Regarding the issues, that is a bit of a mystery. But with LSU coaches having kids at U High I am guessing they didn't like some things they have heard.

Good get and this kid could be a player for you guys.
