Aren’t worth a bag? Other schools aside let’s not pretend Texas didn’t sign a great class so far. Acting like they stacked up 3 stars. The trick for everyone now Is keeping them of course.

They stacked up three stars and low four stars. Their average recruit ranking isn’t all that great

We can all go on rivals and see over half their class is 4 stars or better so no need to make stuff up

Why do A&M fans treat this forum like their personal toilet?

This recruiting class is the closest they’ll ever come to winning anything. They’d all be admitted if they acknowledged the harsh truth that they are the most underperforming athletic department in the big 3 sports in college athletics.

I dont know why they are acting like this recruiting class isnt bought and paid for.
Half these kids will prob transfer once they get their money.

I can’t stand this thread. I’ve already had to upvote 4 Aggies.

The greater point for any school though is you need to offer more than just NIL deals.
I am confused because until this year aTm never had a top recruiting class and the only reason for it was NIL.

I agree to some extent, but having a complete team of guys into the glamour is the exact cultural issue that got Texas into their current predicament
Exactly what happened to Jimbo with Winston and hence why he is no longer there.

Yes you need highly talented guys, but you also need a locker room predominantly made up of guys with focus that love the game. Love it so much that even practicing gets them pumped up. Ideally those guys are the same guys but you can’t have a team full of high level athletes with questionable football character.
This is comical coming from an A&M fan. Both the Texas schools are pushing nothing but money to get these guys to just visit.
It’s laughable.

Maybe I have watched the Pulse too many times, but there is definitely more to it than just money. The Bags thing is just a coping mechanism for certain fanbases whose athletic departments are operating like a three ring circus.
A&M is a big beneficiary of :
1) Ed O predictably self-immolating
2) Lincoln Riley stacking one of the best classes in the country and then vanishing in the middle of the night
3) Sark being Sark
4) Jimbo being an excellent recruiter and taking advantage of all of the above.
The thing that was really odd for this cycle was Ohio State losing its magical grip on Texas high school kids. They usually are pulling at least 3 of the top 25 kids in the state.
And there is only one team I know that admitted to paying players and that is LSU as recently as last year.
This fake world of pristine, historically competitive programs losing their edge because are their moral standards are being exploited by lawless money machines is just a coping mechanism for internet homers.

If you believe everything you posted, then that’s really pathetic. Every school pays players and has been paying players for decades. People who deny that are just ignorant. You think Ohio State lost their grip on Texas kids randomly, in a year where NIL was approved? They certainly have more to offer in terms of program success than any university in the state of Texas.

Let's examine that.
In 2018, Ohio State signed 1 of the top 50 players in Texas.
In 2019, Ohio State signed 1 of the top 50 players in Texas.
In 2020, Ohio State signed 2 of the top 50 players in Texas. One has since transferred.
In 2021, Ohio State signed 2 of the top 50 players in Texas. One has since transferred.
In 2022, Ohio State signed 2 of the top 50 players in Texas.
Your entire argument is garbage. Ohio State hasn't signed more than 2 of the top 50 Texas players since Fisher became A&M's head coach.
Try doing research next time before you bring that weak shite here.
