Spraggins stock went up, because of him having some great camps and Johnson is a stud. Mizzou wanted both, but congrats.

247 has Spraggins listed at 336. No way that kid only weighs 300.

Apparently we also picked up a 2023 commit yesterday. Ath/DB Tony Mitchell, 8th grader from Alabama, already had a shitload of offers from FBS schools including SC,UGA,A&M, and MSU.

I know QBs get offered early, but DBs being offered at 13 years old seems pretty rare.

I can't imagine how good an athlete you'd have to be at that age to be offered by several SEC schools.

He'll probably flip to Bama as soon as they offer

Not so sure we wanted the OG, I heard when we had 2 OL we might be done. Maybe I'm thinking of something else

Safety is good, but kids at this school are hit or miss on whether they will qualify/put in the work. Not trashing them or saying Mizzou didn't want them both at some point, and we definitely would've taken the safety still, but just letting Tenn fans know about the general trends from this HS

I mean they’re black kids from East St Louis.

It’s the same shite we deal with for every Memphis kid we recruit

trust me east st. louis is way worse than memphis.

I would compare memphis kids to st. louis kids for sure in this manner, but east st .louis is just corrupt all the way around from the top down.

Why would you only take 2 OL in a draft class? This isn't ILB. You need at least 5 (and more practically 7 ready for snaps) without costing you wins.

We will take more than 2. Hell, we already have 3 committed lol

Spraggins might have been a take, but I believe we are after more tackle types at the moment. Johnson is a stud though.

Just for clarification these guys are both from Illinois

No you're just talking out of your arse. Memphis kids hardly struggle to qualify they just like going to your other SEC rivals, I only remember a few instances in the past few years for a city that produces dozen of D-I guys per class.

In fact every Memphis kid on your roster went to a private school or a top notch public. Kids from Whitehaven/White Station/Ridgeway don't struggle to qualify either, never understand why they go play for you guys.
