they're rivals250 and top247 players with multiple offers from top tier schools. fact.

I know for certain that we aren't recruiting 3 of those players, the safety we don't need at all, we took like 5 last class and one of the better ones in the nation this class, I've never even heard of that LB, our only Ga LB targets are Korie Rogers and Raekwon, Brown is a big body but hasn't developed like we thought he would so we have moved on to other better guys who have us very high. The only one we might be in contact with is Smith and I don't even know if are in contact regularly, I'm pretty sure Parrish and maybe that kid from St Pius are our main targets at corner. So basically y'all are on a level with Tech, you can just get the leftovers we don't really want

UGA is still trying to get Cortez. It'll be the first recruit since Darick that UT has pulled from Georgia with a UGA offer.

You act as if most of the players worth a damn for UT or UGA aren't being paid or compensated in some way that's against NCAA rules already, lulz. It's not just Bama and the Barn paying players.

Well, I have seen a lot of the cars that most UGA players drive or see the tweets where they talk about bumming rides from other players, including Jarvis Jones. I have no doubt that plenty of small money transactions are happening at every school, but apparently, UGA isn't paying Jarvis Jones, and if they didn't pay him, who would they pay? Also, AJ Green was tempted to sell his own jersey for $1000. Why would he do that if he was being supported high on the hog by school's donors?

Its not always going to be money and obviously not always directly to the kid.

The only player worth a shite in that group is DJ Smith, but even then UGA is pushing hard for Malcolm Parrish. I’m sorry, but 2013 is going to be a disaster for UT. If these “big time” prospects commit, I don’t expect them to follow through

Both of those are almost 2 months old so I'm sure shite has changed a little bit. We really don't need to take another safety in this years class, we will be absolutely loaded for the next 3-4 years so Cortez would kind of be a waste of a scholly imo. DJ Smith is the only one I think we even want and he still has one, probably two guys above him on our list, one of those definitely being Parrish.

Exactly. McDowell is a backup plan for UGA, to be honest. I personally really like his game, but our numbers are really tight this year and he is not the very top of our board. I know he is not a take for UGA right now and might not become one.
I think we'd really like to have DJ in the class, we are recruiting him. He doesn't appear to be our #1 priority, but I'd be shocked if we really don't want him at all.
Mouhon is a good player and a guy we would likely be recruiting in a normal year when we're looking for the typical 3 or 4 ILBs. This year we are probably only looking at 1-2 with possibly a tweener. Mouhon is simply too far down the board with the ridiculous talent in this state for us to be after him with our numbers tight. Great pickup, though.
Brown...I wouldn't expect much from him tbh. UGA isn't recruiting him very hard for a reason.
