Outside of last year's NCAA tournament, he hasn't been that impressive.

He’s one of the streakiest players I’ve ever watched. He’s either playing at an All American level or basically unplayable.

Not a great attitude, volume shooter, but is one of the funnest guys in all of cbb to watch when he’s on.

He’s been very underwhelming outside of the tournament run last year when he got hot for three weeks. As a 5* recruit, I don’t think he’s been close to living up to expectations. He shot 38% from the field and a putrid 30% from three this season. Shot selection isn’t always great. It was best for him and UNC to split.

He’s horrible at basketball more often than he’s been good.
He had great tourny games against Dook and UCLA and was an absolute liability against Baylor and lost them a chip against KU with brick after brick.

He’s a career 33% 35% and 80% 3 assist 2 turnover per game guy.
That tells me he sucks in ISO and doesn’t know how to distribute the ball.
He could turn it around possibly but he hasn’t done it in 3 years so not sure why some think he will now.

Yeah, after hearing everyone trash his shooting efficiency I was starting to feel a little queasy. Still wanted him though.
Maybe Gates was honest with him and told him he'd have to be a team player and pass the ball around.
