We've taken plenty of 4-star players out of LA over the years: Jonathan Stewart, Patrick Lewis, Floyd Raven (who will be a stud at Safety this season), and Noel Ellis recently, but many of those didn't have LSU offers. It's always been nearly impossible to get a guy out of LA that LSU wants. Having said that, Noil would put up crazy numbers in our offense, and if we can convince of that, it would be our first recruiting victory of this type since I can remember, maybe since Bucky Richardson.

I want him to come to AU so I can cheer for a guy name Speedy.

So what's the deal with this kid? Guess UF is doing work behind the scenes with him because Ed rarely mentioned on our boards...

Recievers are not the only Five stars we are going after.
Well, no duh. Im just saying that alot of LSU fans are thinking LSU is going to land 7 or more 5*'s, and that they could land 5 or 6 great receivers. All these good receivers arent going to a school thats not pass happy. Unless they change how they play this fall.

how recent??
I read something very similar a couple of weeks ago. Couple hours later or maybe next day he added LSU to list.

Think this was earlier today.

He's just trying to stir up suspense for an all star game announcement IMO

Probably. Like I said, he lists UF in his top 3, but nobody has really mentioned him on our boards. I seriously doubt we are that interested/he is that interested. I know UF is trying to get bigger at WR.

He told a reporter on one of our sites that he had a top 2 of A&M and USC and that was it. He later decided to release a top 3 and that's when he added UF. So maybe he likes UF but not at the top of his list, or maybe he's just trolling LSU fans...

when is he gonna commit?
Posted on 5/15/13 at 11:22 am to LsuTool
I believe at one of the All-Star games after the season, which is why I think it will be an A&M/LSU battle by the time he commits. I think he wants to see how our offenses compare this season. There's a chance he commits this summer when he and Gerald Willis visit Noel Ellis in Aggieland though...

Yeah I seriously doubt that Noil commits to A&M this summer, or at all.

Yall seem to be putting a lot of faith into Noel Ellis' ability to sway people.

he comes from a soft spoken yet very diplomatic family.

First off, I think it's 50/50 chance at A&M/LSU. I don't think USC or UF is realistic. Secondly I think he likes A&M because we offered him a long time ago, and he can see that he would kill it in our offense, especially compared to LSU's offense. Lastly, we aren't taking many WRs at all this year, and he would definitely be the premier wideout in our class. I think Noel Ellis is just a small bonus, but not a big connection, considering Frank Wilson is his uncle.

Well first of all, the offer factor is irrelevant because the LSU offer was always coming for him and LSU offered the first chance they got. Secondly, maybe you had a glamorous offense this year, but A&M still hasn't put any wide receivers in the NFL in over 5 years, as in guys who actually still remain in the NFL while LSU has had Bowe, Davis, LaFell, Randle, and Doucet, who all remain on NFL rosters besides Davis.
So in other words LSU is where you get $$$$ if you pay your dues. A&M cannot promise such things. Also, that offense still only has 1 year under its belt and you could argue that Manziel is the reason it even works at all. LSU's offense will only get better and that should enhance their attraction even more. Its funny the destroyed A&M in WR recruiting almost every year except this year even though they've had an inept passing game for 4 straight years.

Not to mention Frank is his cousin. If anyone thinks he is going anywhere else is gullible.

Nah. It'll be longer than a week. But we're going to be on Karr's campus next week and at their Spring game on the 24th.
Good luck, fran.

Oh so wrong you are on this one, and I'm not saying you dont realize what this is, but so many in your fanbase are already celebrating as if he was a commit and LSU is no threat.
No Aggie on these boards is doing this. You're creating a way to deflect your own disappointment in Speedy.
