but do you really think his hands are that good?

There was some film on him at LSU's summer camp this past year where he caught every single thing near him. He excels at pulling down deep balls, and and will also be a nightmare on timing routes. Very similar to Jarvis, IMO, because he has fluid away-from-the-body technique while catching a pass. I'm not saying he'll be a 3rd down monster like Jarvis was this year from day one, but I see it coming to him at some point.

You know what I mean by Yackle? Lol not tackle a TE that Les seems to be a pro at grooming and he is just an blocker at the end of the OL

Hence Yackle

MagillaGuerilla (Bama poster) mentioned it 1st a yr or so ago and designated LSU as Yackle U

No shite. It's not like we fool people into defending the TE.

We should be playing our swing lineman there, and convert smith and Washington into wrs.

No one cared about darian claiborne, and he turned out to be a frickin beast this year. Our leading pothead and tackler.

I missed Mike Williams this yr he was a good example as a great blocker that could sneak out to flats etc and he was drafted by Detroit and immediately converted into an OT lol

The hard truth is this though, and most LSU fans haven't really grasped it. We are going back to the JJ offense, 65/35 run pass. Cam Cameron isn't going to turn AJ or bh into mett. He's going make them run.

This. You can really see Les wants to go this way, but I sincerely hope Cam doesn't play that stupid smash mouth Big 10 style even though there are times that comes in handy. Speedy will get all the stats he could ever want, but in the end for A&M to change their fortunes they need defensive depth. A guy like Sumner-Gardner is more important than Speedy ultimately if they continue their present style of play. Should be fun to watch though.

And not one single tackle within 7 yards of the LOS.

No one cared about darian claiborne? You sound like you have no idea what your talking about saying that. LSU fans were pissed off about not getting him. LSU did not have the room and fans knew they were missing out on a great player.

Oh and for the people saying Quinn is not fast.. 40 in 4.39. Some of you sound stupid when you write.

Quin might be as fast as Speedy (Speedy ran a 4.40 at The Opening) but Speedy is more than just speed. He also has the second highest SPARQ score in the history of The Opening, and he is very elusive. Quinn is really, really good...but Speedy is the total package. Elite speed, elite athleticism, decent size, and great escapability.

I can wait to watch him play.
