Let it be known that I am happy for UK. Y'all deserve some bright spots with football. My hang up is with the other fan bases that cried foul play when we were doing the same thing (almost).

Good point. BUT I could see how some people could think that the fan base is really just tired of sucking at football and decided to empty their pockets for some talent.

It's okay. The bitching that you all got from SEC schools will be made up in spades by Louisville fans who can't understand how we're out recruiting them despite their BEST YEAR EVA IN THE HIZTORY OF COLLEGE SPORTS YO!1!1!1

I've been to "the ville" a couple times. Peculiar bunch they are. I can imagine that this year especially would be a pain in the arse hearing from them.

In all seriousness, it'd probably be different if we had the football tradition Ole Miss has had. This is uncharted waters for UK in the modern era. And as Cat said, we're recruiting Ohio which has been an untapped resource in our backyard. Immediate PT in the SEC is an interesting sell to kids in Big Ten country.
ETA: And until we see if Stoops can coach his way back to bowl games nobody is going to be all concerned. When you landed that class Freeze had shown that he could make a splash with less talent then what he's recruiting.

Just worry about vandy's recruits they already have on campus and the fact that you play them the first game of the season. Then you can worry about us.

Petrino was different. He went out and hand picked guys to fit his system then filled them in with 3*s. Thats why his defenses always sucked.

Will someone please just congratulate Ole Piss on landing their first top ten class? They just really want to feel like they have won something.
