I thought that he meant Shaun Dion Hamilton's #1 school when he said "his".

No, Dad wanted him at Alabama. Dad had Bama his #1 school, but let Shaun pick his own school.

I'll just go ahead and give the standard tPOS, grades are a huge concern, didn't have a commitable offer, Williams, Davis, and Evans were higher on our list, etc.

Well, that would be a lie. Clemson and Auburn shared time being his #1 school in the past.

Dude, you got Yeldoned. I mean Fostered. Whatever.

It's very obvious that you haven't been following his recruitment.

Justin Hokanson ?@JHokanson 3h One thing I love about Shaun Dion Hamilton, who's about to commit, he's 4.0 and will be Valedictorian of his class. He graduates early.

I just can't wait for the season to start and your losing to continue, then the epic meltdowns that will follow.

He goes to Carver HS. Not exactly the HS beacon of excellence in Academics

Still, good pick up Dameyune Craig needs to get some bigger bags

Never said that Jeremy Johnson was going to win a brain bowl against Stephen Hawkins

Doesn't matter where you go, graduating with a 4.0 and valedictorian is difficult and a tremendous achievement. Just pointing out before we get ahead of ourselves that being valedictorian at Carver is like being starting QB at U Delaware. Sure, they have potential to have a stud (Joe Flacco), but more often than not they aren't anything special talent wise. Most have worked hard and put in the effort to say they were CFB starting QBs but they aren't top tier. Replace QBs at UD with valedictorians at Carver and it works ridiculously well if you place in intelligence adjectives

Soooo he named him after a high schooler? Hamilton was born in 95. Alexander graduated in 00. Those bammers sure are fricking strange

Y'all have had some counter-intuitive logic in the wake of this announcement. On one hand you say he'll sit the bench for three years, because of the talent we have on the roster, and would have started for four years at UT. On the other hand, you're saying we're cycling down. Which is it?

How old is Hamilton? Shaun Alexander had his big coming out party against LSU in 1996.
