Our stupid AD decided to let our new coach and the guy we're paying Millions of $$$$ continue to work for his all employer instead of recruiting for his new team...

Think they moved up since yesterday afternoon. Just a bad year with a lot of shite going wrong. They will recover eventually. Bar is set low for new coach on recruiting.... he can only improve things going forward. Chance to be a hero.

Being demanding right now is just irrational.
1. Our class sucked with Will. We’d still be in the bottom 50.
2. Beamer has been here a few weeks with no staff. You cannot make up ground with that.
3. While low this year we have Doty, Lloyd, and Harris. That’s a solid hound core.
4. We have plenty of four straight in roster. They need development. They haven’t had that.
5. Good for Shane for honoring his commitment and working out a notice.
Let it go. Sorry, I just don’t let it bother me. There’s bigger issues in this world.

This is the type of defeatist attitude that keeps SC's football where it's been for the past 100 years.
I'm not worried about next year, or the one after that. I'm looking 3 years down the road.
Teams used to able to make up ground in recruiting with the 85 class limit. Then they put the 25 signees per class limitation on top of that. That makes it extremely difficult to make up what you lose to graduation, players going pro and the portal.
We've got an INCREDIBLY deep hole to dig out of right now.

Yeah Lonnie, youre dead wrong on this. the guy staying at OU for an extra week or two isnt why this class sucks, nor would it be any different. Y

I don’t think so. I’d be pissed too. Beamer wasn’t even a coordinator and they weren’t playing for a playoff spot. He definitely should have been at SC as soon as he was hired

Totally disagree 100%. Staying did nothing for OU as they were not even in the cfp. When you're trying to build a fast relationship with recruits, and only have 6-7 weeks before signing day, waiting for 2 weeks to come and build staff and relationships is ludicrous.

Probably pretty close to where we are now I think were focused primarily on the transfer portal
