Not a shocking turn of events but it's now official. He was visiting us this weekend so it likely means we have someone in mind at DB or Deandre Baker returns.

Don't want to sound like a cliche but we all can see Kirby building a Bama like roster. Any of Richt's classes and those 3*s were a lock.

With all the 5* talent already in it would have been worth it to keep him just for the name.

The Wildgoose chase play by play commentary writes itself.

Not only that, he comes from the same school as Deandre Baker and we hit gold with him. Also comes from the same school as Divaad Wilson. That school produces lots of DB's apparently. Someone on our forum thinks Wildgoose will end up in the NFL. We shall see

Good luck to him, rumor on Dawgnation is Campbell committed yesterday to the coaches, I hope so that's true, and if Baker comes back, would awesome.

Would LOVE ROQUAN to return, but totally understand if he bolts

Is this where UGA fans make shite up about how he sucks?

Oh Wildgoose doesn't suck. Far from it. He played really damn good in camps and the coaches saw an elite player.

I think they just can't turn down someone as good as Campbell.

Campbell versus Wildgoose, ummm

Campbell every day of the week, now I do think Wildgoose will be a good player, but not in Campbell's stratosphere

Ignore the auburn. He reads an ajc headline or a thread title and thinks he has a clue.

Everything I have read about wildgoose is that he will be a good one. But this tradeoff is a no brainer.

Pretty confident this wasn't about Campbell - I believe we would have had a spot for him either way. I think this was more about the return of Baker. With Baker staying it kinda puts someone out.

How do you figure? Wildgoose wouldn't have projected as a starter no matter what... as to the space under 85, we will take a full class regardless... This doesn't have anything to do with Baker returning...

Alabama just offered him.

It's not committable though.

Sooooo... they didn't offer him. They just called him and said if ITS doesn't work out then maybe we will have a spot for you.

We would take him for depth after losing our commit to heart issues. Trey Dean is going to be a corner kid was lock down at the UAA practices. So really need safeties. It's ugly back there for us.

I really wish we had the room for Wildgoose. I know he got an offer based on camp performance, and space us tight. If he is somewhat of a project, I definitely think it would be worth the risk.

He's going to get picked on at corner if that's where he ends up... bookmark it. He's good at jamming/getting physical at the LOS, but his coverage skills need significant work. Would be happy to be wrong for the kid, but there is a reason that most teams projected him to safety.
