UGA is still very much in it for Bigsby, especially if we decide to turn up the interest.

Rumor is Bigsby is already a silent to us and has been recruiting other players to us also. Good chance he gives his public commitment to us this weekend. Long time until signing day though.
Lloyd/Bigsby would be 2 homerun commitments for us.
Georgia waiting to turn up the interest on a Georgia kid may just bite them in the rear end.

Yes we are way ahead on Bigsby, right now, but he is a Georgia boy, and if UGA turns up the heat, it will be tough to hold on to him. Also, have seen where Rusty Mansel has said UGA has other backs above Tank even with if Evans and Milton go elsewhere...so i dunno what is going on. A class of Lloyd and Tank would be a duo that Carolina has never seen before. Im not holding my breath on it, cause UGA is RBU and they can swoop in at the 11th hour and say hey we really want you and take a rb away from anyone.

UGA, Bama, and Tank’s high school coaches vastly prefer him at Safety.
Tank wants to be a running back in college. He is down the list for both UGA and Bama as a RB.
Milton and Evans both going elsewhere likely wouldn’t change that, but I’m pretty confident Georgia will land at least one of those two.

i think you land evans, and lose out on milton, so go after gibbs please;....i really like Tank at rb as a rb 2 for lloyd, granted we hold onto him.
Edit: Also a thing that helped us land Lloyd was our spring game Thomas Brown and BMAC had Gurley come to Columbia to tell Bigsby, and Lloyd how much they helped them and the coaching they provided...we piggybacked off of you boys so feel honored.

Damn I didn’t know about that. That’s gotta sting to have your former players recruiting against you

Great pickup on Lloyd. As for Bigsby, I've watched his videos several times to see what I'm missing. Ratings aside, not a top RB, IMO.

Not trying to start a pissing or dick measuring match, but UGA fans said the same about Mike Davis.

Honestly I dunno one way or the other but our coaches certainly seem to have had him lower on the board at RB at least up until now... We'll see if that changes with the recent commitment I suppose.
I know people are pointing at slow playing instate guys as a mistake for UGA coaches, but it would be a lot worse to consistently go hard on instate guys and then pivot away later in the process. Option A might cost you one kid. Option B might cost you access to that school in the future if it isn't handled well...

I don't disagree, uga had that built in option, I think kirby and co are doing it right, just stay away from Tank haha.

Not like you to repeat complete BS, any chance you've got a link on this one? Can't find anything online indicating Gurley was helping USC here or attended their spring game?

Well, it's pointless to say this because it's unverifiable, but I used to post on the old DawgPost and I was quite complimentary of Davis when he signed with you guys. I said Spurrier had stolen a good RB out of Georgia.
The fact that I was right then doesn't mean I'm right now, because those are two completely unrelated players and teams (and I'm older and have consumed a fair amount of vodka in the interim). But that of course means that your point above is meaningless too; what other UGA fans said about Davis has no bearing on what I said about Bigsby. I honestly don't care if Bigsby is good or bad or mediocre; I just don't see anything special about his videos.

Let me rephrase, Todd was in town for a camp, and came by campus to see BMAC and Thomas Brown, and happened to run into the recruits..ill post the picture of him in columbia when i find it...he was working a camp for Chris Rumph *sp* at Brookland Cayce High School
*edit* I didn't explain well my first post, Gurley didnt actively recruit against UGA...BMAC and TB just used the opportunity to their advantage.

That's fair, no sweat. I wasnt trying to single you out, however looking at 247 and your comment above, it seems that most uga fans think Tank isnt a good back. I happen to disagree, and I used the example of Mike Davis, only because he was from GA as well, granted y'all signed a couple of studs that year. I love tank and not only because he is a Carolina lean.
