This list looks a lot better than the Pro-Style one.

Florida got the 1 pro style and 2 dual threat in 2011 and the 2 and 3 dual threat in 2014 and they all ended up transferring due to sucking, playing time, or failed drug tests. Incredible.

Incredible.
These threads are making me sad.
We have had multiple top 10 QBs, RBs, and WRs in these lists and the only one worth a damn for us was Kelvin Taylor

Did anyone watch him in that ULL bowl game the other night? I couldn't believe it, but he's actually gotten worse

As of this month, J.T. Barrett is the only QB who is still with the team he signed with.

At this point in time "pro-style" basically just means you aren't athletic enough to be considered dual threat. Really not that shocking that the better athletes end up being better at... athletics.

# 3 Jacoby Brissett -- 4 Stars @ Florida
When I watched him against LSU his freshman year at Florida, he reminded me of Rohan Davey (a compliment). But it makes me wonder why anyone ever thought he was a Dual Threat.
I mean, were they still just saying all black QBs are DT and all white QBs are pro-style as recently as 2011?
I know when LSU had Russell and Flynn, the announcers would talk about the mobile Russell and the pocket passer Flynn, and then you knew they were racist.

Oddly enough...Josh Dobbs was the #8 Pro-Style QB in the 2013 class.

The 3 best Qbs in 2011 aren't even inside the top 12. Manziel is 13, Mariota is 18 and Dak is 20. Talk about some serious misevaluations.

I sure wish State would have gotten one of those top ten guys in 2011.

Or maybe just due to suck-arse coaching

Evaluating DT QBs is such a crap shoot. Too often a guy is categorized as a dual threat because his QB skills are lacking, but he is a good athlete and a threat to run. Then it becomes a guessing game of how much potential he has to improve his passing & if his ability to run & spread out a defense will translate to the next level.
