Yeah, LSU fans melt about players going out of state. The truth is, you can fill out a 3 deep at Dline, DB, RB, and WR without leaving Louisiana. You're going to lose some of those guys every year. You have to go out of state for QB, TE, Oline, and LB anyway, so when you lose a top ten in state guy, just find somebody else out of state.

It does suck in a year like this with Manning and Holstein being in LSU territory and going out of state, but why would they commit to LSU when we've got 3 QB's that have multiple years remaining.

Louisiana should absolutely be prioritized but Brian Kelly probably knows Missouri better than the home state. He’s going to need a cycle.

So do Gunner Stockton and Brock Vandagriff while Alabam has Ty Simpson and Jalen Milroe. Every team those La guys were looking at had qbs with multiple years in front of them.

I expect he'll continue to recruit the Midwest. He has staff from that area as well as staff from Louisiana. We can recruit nationally when needed.

Heard some UF fans say that Rasahda wants serious NIL money. Anyone know about it?

Moores

FWIW, Moore reached out to ND and asked if they still have a spot for him. He was told the only way they wouldn't is if CJ Carr reclassifies, which is a possibility.

Our insiders still believe he winds up at ND if Carr doesn't reclassify. My gut says if Dante pulls the trigger in the summer that he's Irish and if he doesn't things look dicey.

I don't believe this at all.

A few ND insiders have reported/confirmed this. Loy (247) was the first to put this out.

I wouldn’t if Loy put it out there.

No slight on Notre Dame, but he's one of the top QB recruits in the nation. The idea that he called Notre Dame, who is still reportedly very much in the lead for him, just to ask if they still had a spot for him, and their response was basically "yeah maybe".

Yeah, I don't believe that. If he's at Notre Dame, it's not because they managed to find a spot for him; it's because they recruited him well and he decided they were the best option.
