Wasn't Randle not selected because of his injuries?

Welp, 2013-14 college basketball is now ruined. This shite gets old. If they get Wiggins as well, the rest of us might as well get the letters "U" and "K" branded on our asses.

Im assuming that all 4 of UK's freshmen will declare for the NBA draft.

I guess thats the plan every year. Sign as many McDonald's all americans and hope you either win it all or lose in the first round of the NIT.

If they do, they're stupid. Noel is the only one who should consider it.

The NBA draft isn't like the NFL draft. People who get picked at the end of the first round are by no means guaranteed a roster spot.

Freshmen should stay unless they're projected in the lottery, imo. The UK freshman have a lot of growing up to do

Goodwin and Poythress need to either go to the league or transfer. They were good freshman but they are good but the guys they are bringing in are great and they wont see the court.

They're stupid if they come back IMO. Cauley is a lottery projected pick (in some top 10s) and all of them are most likely 1st round locks. Goodwin will be burried behind Young and Aaron Harrison. Poythress will be behind Randle or Young and splitting remaining time with Lee and Wiltjer (if he stays). And even if they got significant PT they'd be trading going into the weakest draft in at least a decade for going into one of the strongest drafts of the decade. Not a smart choice to stay IMO.

All three have said multiple times that they're coming back. At this point, I could see WCS entering the draft, but I think Goodwin and poythress are almost locks to return. Poythress might not play much next year but Goodwin had definitely picked his game up some and would battle to start at the 2.

Goodwin is going pro as a 1st round pick but Poythress will play PLENTY even next year for UK. If Wiltjer transfers and WCS goes pro as expected he's the only returning big man on the team. To say 3 freshmen pass him up is pretty absurd. He'll play at least 20 minutes a game next year.

This.

God, I hate the one and done rule. It's ruined the hell out of college basketball.

I guess it's perfect though for odious mercenaries like Calipari.

The NBA needs a minor league.

Just looked at some mock drafts and updating my opinion. Noel and WCS should go since they are projected in the lottery.

Goodwin and Poythress should stay. They're not NBA players yet and competing against this new class everyday will really help them.

You're assuming incorrectly if they hold to what they've said since the loss. I anticipate Poythress and Goodwin likely coming back. WCS has said he's going to see where he stands and then decide whether he comes back (the hubbub is he wants to but his family wants him to go pro). Noel is the only one I fully expect to be gone.

Or get an Elite Eight, Final Four, and National Championship in the other years.

If any of these 2 players play a good amount of time it's going to be Poythress, not Goodwin. Harrison and Young are on another level.

It must be a testament to how great the current UK recruiting class is by saying this season's freshmen better opt for the NBA so they don't wind up sitting the bench next year in college.

Oh, and if they land Wiggins, no sense in watching college hoops next year. May not be much sense in it already.
