Did you miss his rookie season? Or his last year at Auburn?

He already flipped his CB back to Auburn. Our insiders are saying if Gus and TWill stay then Pappoe will sign with Auburn. If they leave then he’s UGA bound.

No he hasn't. I'm looking at it right now and it's the same as it was when he updated the CB earlier this afternoon.

I'm honestly a bit confused on what his pick is right now

On the Crystal Ball screen it sure looks like it's saying he flipped his UT pick back to AU

But on Owen Pappoe's profile it still lists UT with 4% picks

However, if you look at all the picks it again looks like he flipped back to AU

So I don't really know wtf is going on

With all that said, UT is absolutely a threat at this point. Questions surrounding Gus's job security has Pappoe looking around. But the consensus among all AU insiders is the same, if T-WILL is here in December, Pappoe signs. If he isn't, Pappoe is gone. We will see what happens.

Will definitely say I take the Vol buzz a lot more seriously after him bailing on AU game this past weekend

Agreed, the way they designed that does look odd with the T faded and next to the AU, but the pick was AU previously and you can see where he updated it at 12:27 today.

We've got some guys on another board with access to the AU 247 page and they've been bringing back Niebuhr's posts. So that's been cool to get both sides of the story. A decommitment is tough, but we feel like we've got some momentum. We're also recruiting Kenyatta Watson who plays with Wanya Morris and Pappoe at Grayson trying to get all 3 on board. We're shooting or shot anyways.

UGA’s not recruiting him. Focused on Dean.

The Loganville (Ga.) Grayson standout has been a verbal to Auburn since May, but at the very least Tennessee is going to make this one difficult for Gus Malzahn and his staff. One source believes the Vols have pulled to 50/50 with their SEC counterpart, and of course you still have Georgia laying in the weeks for the in-state standout as well. Pappoe has a strong relationship with the Auburn staff but he’s obviously listening to others as time to put pen to paper nears.

Five-star linebacker Owen Pappoe, an Auburn commitment from Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga., headlined the list of prospects in attendance for Saturday’s game. Pappoe accompanied teammate Wanya Morris, the five-star Tennessee offensive tackle commitment, in making the trip to Knoxville. Pappoe has visited the Vols a number of times, so he already was plenty familiar with Tennessee. But his latest visit served as a clear indication of the momentum the Vols already seemed to be building with him.

While 247Sports’ Keith Niebuhr reported Sunday that Auburn’s coaches, according to sources, think there’s a good chance Pappoe will stick with the Tigers as long as their staff survives, sources have told GoVols247 that there’s increasing optimism surrounding Tennessee’s chances of stealing away Pappoe. Morris and his family have been in Pappoe’s ear about the Vols, and he’s now giving Tennessee legitimate consideration. Another of Pappoe’s Grayson teammates, four-star Texas defensive back commitment Kenyatta Watson, also is being pursued by the Vols.

It’s still going to be a battle for Pappoe down the stretch, but there’s a real chance Tennessee could host him on an official visit in the coming weeks. And Tennessee now appears to be the biggest threat to the Tigers going into the final weeks of his recruitment.
