Been doing a lot of reading/studying lately, and finding this:
1. California/Texas/ Florida/ Georgia
2. Ohio
3. Louisiana/Alabama
With both Louisiana and Alabama coming on. Bodes well for SEC in the future.

BTW, the thread is about college recruiting and not about players in the NFL.
Right, one has nothing to do with the other. A non commutable bama offer is more important than making the league.

High school and college football are really picking up in Alabama. Just over the last several years you can see the first round picks likely blow other states away per capita in the same time frame
Andre Smith
Jamarcus Russell
Marcel Dareus
Dre Kirkpatrick
Dee Milliner
Nick Fairley
Mark Barron
Julio Jones
CJ Mosley
DJ Fluker
Rolando Mcclain
An impressive list for a state this size. All these guys played high school ball in Alabama, and I'm probably missing a few

Excellent list however Louisiana still tops the list per capita.

Louisiana is ranked number one. Out of every 100000 people 2 are top prospects. Heard it on the radio this morning, Alabama number 2, Florida number 3 Georgia number 4
First 4 out of 5 all SEC states

Curious to know where Virginia is on this list? Seems they have had ELITE talent in state recently and was wondering about total numbers
