re: Ole Miss folks, why on earth isn't the RB Pennamon ranked higher?

I've thought this for a while as well. His hudl is incredible. The last name might as well be Pendragon too

It isn't gonna be easy... He looks really really good running the ball in the Semper Fi Allstar game right now.

He's far and away the best back on the field tonight... Dammit Bama you need to step off

He showed up and showed out at the Semper Fi game. D'Vaughn was voted the biggest "game changer" for the event. He rushed for 124 yards and totaled close to 150 yards on offense. He now believes he is good enough to go to Bama. He gone.

Ole Miss needs to hang on to him, great looking RB, watch out for Bama. Good Luck, Rebs

Aggies just got at least 4 CB picks for Pennamon.

Damn I can understand if he switched to bama or even houston, but a&m is in turmoil and their coach will be gone in a year or two. Can't blame someone who wants to stay closer to home, but really hope we keep this kid. It's gonna be Peyton barber all over again.

Pennamon is from Manvel and is teammates with a couple of guys that A&M is after too I'm guessing. We weren't going to get him without a fight.

We have a pretty good relationship at Manvel from what I know and still do. I hope we can flip him but whoever gets him is getting a great back.

Agreed. He's the only commit we expect to flirt elsewhere and he's flirting quite a bit. I just hope we somehow hold on to him, it's going to be a battle.

Hogs need one more back to go with Whaley. Hope it's Porter or Pennamon. Possibly Boyd. One of those three would be okay with me...

The new OC at Texas A&M emphasizes run game more. It appears Pennamon may be more of a target now.

So where are all of his OV A&M, OM and Bama?

Oh bs... Ole Miss and their fans live for getting noticed/attention.

He is in College Station for an OV this weekend. Evidently our new OC likes him also.

That tends to happen when all your quarterbacks transfer

This guy scares me as an LSU fan. If Sumlin survives the next couple of years & develops a QB, then this is the type of RB that can gash for big yardage in the Sumlin/aTm offense. But, LSU's D will be different with Aranda, so it may not be as vulnerable to this type of back as it would have been under Chavis/Steele.
I like him a lot. Don't know if he would flourish is any system, but Ole Miss's would be the type. A&M's would be even better. He would make the occasional big play if he was a RB at Bama or LSU (or even Arky), but would be great in the right spread system. Definitely underrated. Very scary playmaker for the Rebels or Aggies.

Aggies offer him the chance to play in front of 104,000 for his home games, and be a lot closer to home so it is easier for his family and friends to be there.
