We’re used to this as ole miss fans. Every team in the south(and Midwest too ask Mizzou how they became tigers) likes to act like little children that got caught with their hand in the cookie jar when it comes to race. They look away like kids while pointing at the others. I’m not sure what kind of virtue signal saying we’re racist but you’re more racist is but I guess it makes them feel better. BTW does lsu still sell the purple and gold confederate flags?

That’s an officially licensed logo on there boss they may not have sold them themselves but you could buy them on gamedays and they definitely didn’t disapprove. Here’s an old school one so you can see it’s been a long tradition in David Duke country.

I’m not getting into the confederate flag argument. As someone whose ancestors fought for the south I don’t like the abandonment of history and hostility toward those who fought for the south. There’s too many lies spread about the civil war, and it was way more complicated than slavery alone. Majority of those who fought didn’t own slaves and simply fought to defend their home state. You can’t paint with a broad brush all who fought based on the beliefs/agenda of the wealthy few who pushed for the war.
