I really hope Dewberry can play OT, but he looks like a 3 year starter at G to me. I like Erb a lot too, but not sure he's a OT either. I think Zuhn who was hurt as a true freshman last year is the favorite to start at LT this year.

LG Blake Trainor (RS Senior) - A 6'7 guard? Have fun with that.

Did Neal and Leatherwood suck as guards too? It makes me laugh when people keep spewing that tall guards suck, but their own teams who have won national titles have moved top tackles inside to start their careers

Confused. What are you saying? Leatherwood and Neal are 6'7"?

Every time Trainor came in at tackle he was abused. The one game he was at guard was the only game Calzada wasn't sacked.

247 is reporting that he's reclassified and signing with A&M. His signature raises the total even higher now

**correction**

It appears A&M is the leader. His decision to reclassify happened right after his last (of many) visits, as per the article I read. He was born in College Station, and his father worked for the University before they moved.

He feels comfortable with Durkin

Yes I am saying that Neal is 6 7.5 and Leatherwood is 6 6 so guards are fine

UGA insider doesn’t believe Dawgs will land Overton’s commitment. Sounds like NIL and offering the recruit’s brother in a 2-for-1 where a team basically has to burn two scholarships is the price of poker.

Kid is Uber talented but with reclassifying and coming in young and needing more development plus a 3 year player - the juice may not be worth the squeeze.

Not saying UGA doesn’t want him - we do.

Micaiah Overton - DL at Liberty

Agreed with Long Dawg, LT coming off a foot injury and not physically ready for SEC play year 1 (leaves 2 years at best for him to produce, assuming he returns to pre-injury form) plus the NIL and taking on his brother who would be a project player at best on an SEC DL. Asking a lot for slim ROI

Thanks for the info. Weird the brother would want to go somewhere he wouldn't get to play.

Will be curious who is willing to entertain the asking price as he makes the rounds this Spring. Oregon and Oklahoma might as they try to rebuild. A&M, OSU, and UGA shouldn’t be desperate enough to spend a second spot on the brother given how well we recruit the DL and how precious those spots are. UGA definitely wants LT and will do what we need to to get the most out of him while he’s here but hard to forfeit two spots for one guy with a short tenure

OU or Oregon would get a lot out of him, selling to other recruits and boosters that they just landed a big fish like LT. Its a typical day at the office for the other schools on his list.

Tranor played his arse off at guard for the Bama game. Should have earned him a starting spot.

He’s a sharp kid, intelligent and respectful. He doesn’t strike me as a mercenary. Wherever he goes, he’ll be successful. I’m thinking UGA because of proximity although He has those ties to A&M. Watching his Rivals interview he seems to light up a bit talking about UGA.

By all accounts hes an incredible person who gets straight As and comes from an amazing family. I think the rumors coming out about the money being thrown around and the guranteeing spots to his brother are waaaayyyyy overstated but what do I know

UGA is highly unlikely to put his brother on scholarship. Not sure why A&M would either given how they are recruiting on the DL, but I guess we’ll see.

A&M already has to drop 9 more players to get under the 85 limit.
