just googled this WTF? That's not smart lol
He was offered when he attended camp with his team to play in the 7on tourney. His measurables and performance would have gotten him an offer as a HS senior. Had he not been on campus, at an evaluation event, he wouldn't have an offer yet.
He was also invited to one of Bama's Jr days, FWIW.

The lsu RB comparing this kid to Peterson is hilarious

and we are comparing him to AP out of high school, not AP now

Fournette/AP is a great comparison simply because Fournette's style is very AP esque - dude is just the total package.
Obviously no one knows what his career will end up being but that should go without saying...

ORLY? That would be funny if he commited before LF & LF decides to go to Ole Miss or somewhere
LF will 100% be at LSU. He tells folks on a daily basis he's going to LSU.

Not a single frick will be given. We don't need him like lsu does. It's pretty absurd to not take a running back in a recruiting cycle even if you're guaranteed to get one the next year. Down goes fournette and then what?
LOL @ we need him. We'd be just fine without him but he will be a great one here. We aren't just recruiting him for 2014 either. Obviously not taking a RB in 2013 (passing over a very good one in Adam Taylor) we have 2-3 great RBs lined up for 2014.

Fournette has been getting hype for two years. He could have started at many D1 schools as a HS freshman. He may not be AD, but he's pretty damn close.

Really 3 years now. In fact, some hyped him coming from 8th grade. He looked like a seasoned high school senior physically and on the field as a true freshman. He was 6 feet 200+ already back then.
1735 yards, 22 TD as a freshman in h/s

Peterson is one of the best backs in nfl history. It's stupid to compare any hs kid to him. I thought the same with Richardson and still do. Peterson is stupid good.

Are bama fans now hoping LSU players get injured? Is that what yall have become now? Yall have a pretty good program and I see no reason for thinking like that about us, even if we are your #1 rival.

The lsu RB comparing this kid to Peterson, sanders, Jackson, and walker is hilarious. "Once in a lifetime player" is thrown around a lot over there too. The kid looks like a great football player, but comparing him to HOFers because its likely he signs with lsu is laughable. He'll be a great pickup for y'all and a great SEC back, I just think the lavish praise and comparisons are a bit premature. He looks like Jeremy hill to me
He's the #1 RB in the nation and possibly the top kid from LA in the last decade. DWI

Peterson rushed for 1800+ as a freshman in college and just went over 2000 and won nfl MVP.

And keep in mind St. Aug is not one of those schools that runs a guy to death. It's not like he gets 35-40 carries every game like some of these schools do their backs such as Derrick Henry got.
Fournette only got 196 carries last season but had 2136 yards and 31 TD rushing. Had 15 catches for 313 yards and 3 TD receiving.

That's about 11 ypc, and 21 ypc respectively..

I think people go overboard when hyping up juniors in high school. How can anyone judge his abilities over any other top hs back when they are all playing high school competition?

but I can tell you that 6'1", 225 #'s, and a 4.4 have something to do with it

Wow you could write a book with the amount of retarded shite BuccWildBammer has said in this thread

So Henry is two and a half inches taller and 20 lbs heavier and only .1 slower in the forty?
i guess we'll have to just settle for him
