I knew you threw that part out about Jones being an LSU fan just to get a bite so you could talk shite about Miles

quote:

Quit making excuses for Les

you seem mad about this.

No wait, how does it go? "Butthurt"?

Yea that's it, you seem "butthurt" about LSU not offering some kid from Ga.

quote:

you should at the very least have 1 RB in each class

ok coach, you know so much more about RB recruiting than Miles does, huh?

quote:

had LSU OFFERED Tyren he might've flipped and he os better than a good majority of RBs on LSUs roster except Hill, and then you would have 1 TS or RF on roster when LF comes and Hill likely departs. I think after people see how good TJ will be as Bamas feature back this year they will be more apt to compare the two because the kid was pretty sick as a TF backup.

Bucc, when LSU doesn't have a good RB, go ahead and bump this thread and bash Miles for not offering someone. Until then keep predicting LSU is gonna lose 6 games next year, and keep hoping some backup scrub WR/DB is gonna deliver Fournette to bama.

So let me get this strait.. Bucc is the douche who predicts every recruit to Alabama but ends up wrong 90% of the time

And he writes on a 1st grade level

I think I just summed up a typical Alabama fan

Take him. As long as Les is there, it's not like we have to worry about him beating us.

Yeldon is not faster than LF. Just to let you know he ran a 6.57 55 meters Saturday and that's a 4.37 in a 40 yard dash. Also the Burns boys have said that Henry's stay at RB might be brief. This was in November when we had this convo.

It's so difficult to accept the fact that not every great player wants to go to Bama, isn't it?

If you REALLY believe what you said (which I don't.. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt..).. then you're going to be really upset during the span of Fournettes career

Wasn't making any kind of excuse for Les, just stating plain facts

How many RB's on LSU's roster went down last year to injury? Bama had 2

I don't care what any LSU fan thinks about Les & recruiting, numbers etc. I don't understand some of the decisions he makes, but you are right I am no SEC HC

Still doesn't make sense to not try to add a RB and if Fournette is a huge LSU fan & a lock like a lot of LSU fans assume, he would understand I'm sure for depth purposes signing a RB in each class

Vermillion Tiger, I am having a discussion and as heated as it gets, there is no need to flame, I didn't flame you in any way, just trying to have a decent discussion

I can ALREADY tell LF's recruitment will be interesting to say the least on here

I don't think you understand. I've watched his film and he looks great, but make no mistake, we don't need him. We can afford to miss on players like LF because we have plenty that can do just as good of a job in our system (if not better).

Haven't you heard? We're a facility full of five stars.

I'll help she'd some light if possible. LSU will not be going "all in" on Fournette. There are several other backs we would also like in the class. Bottom line is it will be a 2-3 RB class. Another reason we skipped a RB was there is a possible #1 RB in the nation right on our campus. He's a 2015 kid and goes by Nick Broussette. Think about that for second. In consecutive years LA might have two top rated RB's for LSU to cherry pick. Perhaps that is why we didn't take a RB.

FTR I wish we had recruited and offered Jones or Adam Taylor this year. However in a recent interview Fournette appears to have taken notice of LSU's lack of depth at RB all a sudden and sees immediate opportunity. However, all 3 of our RB's could leave after this year. Scary thought to rely on a few freshmen tbh.

I'm well aware of how recruiting goes, and frankly I didn't want to take 4 RBs this year because, well, we don't need that many.

I expect Jones to get processed eventually.

Another reason I'm not desperate to get LF is because I think Bo is a very good prospect that could play either RB or WR. These days Bama has so much success at the position I just don't find myself getting too excited about them.

If by ridiculous you mean a long-term strategy that will likely pay huge dividends, yes.

And we still have Hill, Blue and Hilliard. We ain't hurtin' for talent. Not to mention, if we somehow miss out on LF (which won't happen), we also have other backs on the radar.
