He's canceled twice and it's only March... Doesn't sound good.
However, things could always change.

So you don't think your assessment of LSU's RB success compared to Bama's was a bit much? Not even CLOSE seemed to sound a bit butthurt, especially considering you chose to cap it.He will achieve optimum success at LSU,he knows that.
Dude - it's not close. Bama's last three backs have/will be the first backs taken in the draft. No one is close to that recently (not a shot at LSU, no one is close).
Having said that, I think he will likely be very successful if he chooses LSU.

You think? Barring injury he will be just as if not more successful at LSU than anywhere else.Bama's success at RB has paid dividends in recruiting the position and deservedly so.Personally I believe LSU is a better situation for LF.He and Hill will both be future first rounders after their LSU careers, again barring injury.

Haven't seen enough from Hill yet to say first rounder, but he has looked great in what I have seen (and maybe more impressive than his limited game performances, Miles went to him more and more over several other really good backs).
LF will probably have an easier path to being featured at LSU than Bama but I am not sure that is a good thing for him (and if he is as good as many think, he's going to be 3 and out wherever he goes). Besides the easy road to starting, you have to look at recent success programs have had with getting their backs drafted high. No one compares to Bama there.
I agree though, barring injury he could be very successful at LSU (not picking Bama is not a kiss of death - other teams will have great RBs and it's hard to believe Bama can keep this amazing feature RB first round streak alive). This will be especially true if CC can open up LSU's offense to take the heat off the running game.

There are Bama connections that LSU fans are ignoring at the HS (HC and an administrator at the school, plus I'm thinking we land a commitment from his best friend this weekend possibly)
Now Jermaine Roberts is Fournette's best friend?

That is success at LF's position that isn't even CLOSE to being matched by LSU and there is nothing anyone can say to argue that, it is a fact.
LSU has more RB's collecting NFL paychecks and LSU's biggest name RB outrushed Bama's last NFL season. Not a stretch at all to compare the two.

Now Jermaine Roberts is Fournette's best friend? Do you just make this shite up as you go, Bucc?
yea, pretty much.

friends with Roberts and if he commits this weekend (might also be coming next weekend for Jr Day as well) that's another positive for Bama.
his latest article claims he's waiting things out.
He's likely hoping for an LSU offer at some point.

LSU has an even closer connection to the family. Frank Wilson and Leonard Fournette's dad were TEAMMATES at St AUG. Wilson is Fournette's godfather.

That's not as close fwiw
Don't make it up he and Roberts are good friends

Message board rumors are that LF has told other kids at his HS that he will play his college ball with Roberts.

I think both Roberts and LF end up at LSU.

LF's dad and Frank Wilson are tight.
Best friends go to different schools all the time.

The lateset report we got was Roberts was going to wait it out for the LSU offer; presumably so he and LF can play together in college.

Alabama seems to be extemely desperate to garnish the attention of LF,exhausting whatever means necessary.Kind of odd considering Bama is the only place a RB has the opportunity to be a first round draft pick.
Posted on 3/10/13 at 9:42 am to FightinTiga
No more desperate than a team that chooses to not sign a RB in the previous class to get LF's attention
Posted on 3/10/13 at 9:48 am to sarc
Not the first time LSU hasn't taken a RB in a particular class,2008 for example.
Posted on 3/10/13 at 9:53 am to FightinTiga
Not the first time Bama has offered the teammate of a highly sought after recruit. 2008 for example (Robert Lester teammate of Julio Jones).
Posted on 3/10/13 at 9:58 am to sarc
There's alot more than just offering his teammate,I'm sure you're aware of this.
