You fell for clickbait. Congrats

Yeah, because NO ONE on tRant was concerned about it at ALL. There weren't several multiple page threads with people vacillating over that "news".

Several multiple page threads about the OC vacancy at Bama on the Bama page. bamasgot13 says the gumps are concerned about getting an OC.

What else should Bama fans talk about right now? Our team has won the last 3 SEC titles in a row. They've recruited the best in the country for several years in a row.

Discussing the OC position is a good way to pass the time for us. I wouldn't call discussion being "concerned about". For the most part, we all have some candidate we'd prefer, but we trust that like most of his other decisions, whoever Saban picks will work out fine.

You trying to equate fans conversation about an open position on staff with fans conversations about a potential "boycott" of their school by HS coaches is laughable. They aren't even in the same category.

The Rant is in constant meltdown or episodic meltdown mode. A player posts a tweet with "decisions?"

The rant: OMG WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Fire O he's losing control

Well in a few months when fall camp starts, the yearly parade of rant posters claiming LSU will win the NC will come around

LSU changed coaches, not their fans

Their recruiting guy is from New Orleans. That's bad news for aTm whose guy bolted for UNC.

I see a lot of posts by LSU fans implying money is the reason these kids are committing to Kansas. What evidence is there of this (besides the fact that Kansas is Kansas and it's hard to imagine a HS football player with options would chose Kansas)?

Also, if this is true, can we now expect LSU to stop recruiting any of these kids?

I am an LSU fan and I don't think they are getting money. I do believe that Tony Hull has major influence in the NOLA area.

Hull needs a raise or perhaps the Head coaching gig at KU just for having these kids committed. Guy is recruiting kids to the worst power 5 school in the country and its in the middle of a wheat field. I imagine it would be damn near impossible for KU to get a kid out of Louisianna that Mississippi State wanted, let alone LSU.

They're being sold immediate playing time instead of waiting behind somebody else for two years, being the only fish in the pond instead of one of many, and building a program. It's not money.

PS: Hull was promoted to assistant HC two days ago so he got a raise.

Dude this won't last, it's almost a bad move to take these guys to a game atmosphere. When other bigger more exciting schools come calling and they will these guys will flip in a heart beat. Once that initial excitement wears off its over. This happens pretty damn often, they may get 1 or 2 if that. I doubt any of them stay tbh and not bc LSU wants them but bc it's freakn Kansas. We'll see but they have their work cut out for sure. They have bigger schools that need players and not just depth. LSU will probably go after one or two of these guys. Like I said we'll see but good luck to em.

Didn't say it would last. It's Kansas. I want to see if they can continue at this momentum. Two of these high profile recruits just want to play with their former HS teammate at KU (for now). That won't be the case for anybody else they recruit so let's see if they can continue at this level. I don't think they can.

You're hoping and praying they won't, because your school is only .001% more relevant at football right now compared to them. Good luck
