I heard he wasn't even going to give y'all an OV.

Because he has visited Auburn's campus so many times already that he doesn't feel he needs to use an OV.

Because he's visited over 20 times.

Or maybe not...

Kipp Adams of ESPN 30 min ago asked Lawson about his committment to Auburn. Lawson responded "no comment"

Doesnt sound like a kid that is sold on the program...

Vonn Bell will sign with Alabama.

Bama fans and OSU fans are very confident they are getting this kid...I've heard more Bama buzz lately though

I think AU hiring Rodney Garner is going to cost them Lawson this year. Garner was his primary recruiter at UGA and word his he made no bones about not wanting to offer Lawson due to character concerns. Now that RG is at AU, Lawson's grudge has followed him.

Vonn Bell is going to Bama. As it stands right now, I believe Foster does too.

I would rather have Garner than Lawson.

He's already stated that he's listening to his options. He loves Auburn and has visited there over 20 times. He's just pretty much re-evaluating his decision to make sure it's the right now. He's not just going to flip because some coach got hired... He's proven he's committed to the University and not just some coach. Besides, he's been re-evaluating his decision since Gene Chizik was fired.

As of now, probably so.

However, that could change dramatically depending on how his official visits turn out. Auburn has some stiff competition from other schools and, from a fan's judgement, we haven't exactly done ourselves any favors by firing Gene Chizik (and his entire staff) and hiring a guy that he has no prior relationship with (and maybe a little bad blood). But the hirings and firings were needed.

Really hard to say.

You really don't think that his position coach would not affect his decision? He may love Aunurn, but he has to live with Garner.

How did you come to this conclusion by reading my posts?

It'll have some pull and affect on his decision, but it won't be a key factor. If it was, he would've decommitted the minute Gene Chizik was fired, or maybe even when Pelton wasn't retained.

We'll have to see how things go when Carl Lawson can meet with Rodney Garner after the Dead Period ends.

TTs, what's your gut telling you on Liner? No sugar coating. You and I have battled enough to bullshite each other.

FWIW I think he sticks with Auburn even though 99% of the recruiting sites think he flips.

Before Garner was hired Auburn fans were saying Lawson was waiting to see who was hired. Once the guy hired to most doesnt seem like it would help chances now it doesnt matter who the DL coach is...

I have no idea where and what Lawson will do. I think some Auburn fans are in denial. Showing no concern at all. The guy didnt answer calls from the new coach, wasnt offered by the DL coach that was just hired until later in the process, and now when asked about his committment he says "no comment". But everything is ok??? story bro...

Honestly, I've been saying/thinking he flips to Alabama.

It's hard to tell who he's trolling right now. He's like best friends with all Auburn recruits, players, and loves the coaches, yet he visited Alabama a lot toward the end of the season.

My only question is, why hasn't he flipped yet? Is he waiting until NSD 2013?

I think alot of those guys stick with Auburn. I think the staff is able to get the majority of those guys back.
