Welch announced he is signing with "a school" on the 15th. Apparently wavering from his LSU commitment. Visited Arkansas this week. All reports suggest we think we have a decent chance.

Then Welch has said since then that he likes Kelly, had an in home with Corey, and tweeted old DMs between him and Kelly.

Sam Carter has done a hell of a job on this one, has an in-home tonight I believe. Didn't even realize we were in on him until he suddenly visited last weekend.

It wasn’t a committing to a school tweet. It was signing with a school tweet posted on 11/29. He was originally signing at the UAA game but moved it up.

Yes. Before LSU hired BK, welch tweeted "i will be signing with a school".
Since then, he has posted multiple positive LSU things on his twitter and nothing Arkansas related.

This is how this goes. If we get him, they'll say he stinks and BK didn't want him. If they keep him, they'll say he's amazing and look at what a good job BK has done.

I know ole miss stopped recruiting khaumari Rogers because he just tore his second ACL in high school. Stinks for the kid

Yeah I’m still not optimistic we get him if he visits LSU this weekend right before signing day, but I do think he may be torn right now.
