so youre saying hes letting a team vote decide on whether or not we take zach?
No the coach didn't even care about the team enough to get their vote, he just decided he wanted Evans. He'll be on aTm next week per 247

Who was it who had the post the other day about Evans being street smart?
Basically was saying Evans was playing 3 schools and collecting all this money and shite

Might drive that Trans AM Georgia gave him over to A&M.

Please don't come to LSU. It's sad that I'm having to say that, but I just believe this guy's is going to be an absolute cancer wherever he ends up. We have good rbs already, we don't need him and his bs. Let him go somewhere where that dumb selfish shite he pulls won't derail a potential title. Please don't come to LSU. frick this guy.

SEC Recruiting is not the place for trolling/flaming. There is a sticky stating this.

Seems like UGA would be screwing Evans
So the kid signs a binding LOI with UGA, takes up a recruiting spot, decides he wants out and let's say UGA loses a recruiting spot...AND UGA is the one SCREWING EVANS?
You can't be serious.
As long as it doesn't cost us a spot you will see UGA let this kid roll on. But if it does cost us a recruiting spot, then making him come is UGA's only play.

That is not what is happening. We have gone over this.
That was not the initial argument. We have gone over this.
It is not definite that UGA will lose a spot. We have gone over this.

Haven't seen much good about him, is he really that bad a head case?

Actually nobody knows what is going on. Everything is based on heresay, rumors and speculation.
I think a lot of Georgia fans resent your saying that Georgia is screwing over a guy based on rumors, heresay and speculation.
Think about it. If people were saying the same thing about LSU based on a bunch of rumors and speculation wouldn't you get upset? LSU fans get upset when a Team Vote thing is mentioned and that actually happened. (Although not quite in the way that some portray it)

Apparently. You would have to go back a year or so to see what all has been happening with his recruitment. A lot of kids get confused and mixed up during their recruitment. The problem with Evans is he has made it all public. Then he had a lot of problems on his high school team, and that just makes it all seem even worse.

What did he make public? I would say he shared very little info. Didn’t do a lot of interviews. Didn’t talk to all the recruiting services. People just ran with stuff. And took anything and turned it into rumors.

I think people throw criticism/hate on Evans for some of the stuff his brother says and does which isn’t really fair to me
Now the issues with the North Shore coaching staff seem totally fair and are what would worry me

Why? I have not said one single word about UGA fans.

Aren't the North Shore coaches basically LSU plants anyway so is it all that bad?

perroni just said he has in fact been released from his NLI

I have a little more info, that still doesn't definitely clear things up, or guarantee how things will turn out, but it may help a little...
This is per 247 pay content, I'll summarize paraphrase generalize etc... as we can't post pay content.
-This situation is similar to the Ale Kaho @ U of Washington scenario.
-Washington did give unconditional release and Kaho verbally committed to Bama
-Kaho did NOT have to sit out a season
-UW did NOT lose a scholly spot.
-Evans will commit to aTm next week
-players can only sign 1 NLI for a cycle. This means if Evans is really going to aTm as reported, then it will be a verbal only. This means all the financial aid and enrollment etc... will be as if he signed in February.
-What the article did NOT say... if the player truly is only allowed to sign 1 LOI per cycle and he verbally commits to aTm, that to me sounds like stuff could easily change. Evans would NOT be bound by a LOI. aTm also is not bound to holding a spot and is NOT at risk of losing a scholly spot if come February he doesn't sign. So even if he commits to aTm next week, recruiting is not over. If he had signed a LOI, recruiting would be over and nobody is allowed to contact him other than the school that signed him.
I have a feeling regardless of what happens next week, it won't be the last of what we hear about Evans and recruiting.
At least this should be good news to UGA fans.
ETA: also, regarding Evans, it has been reported that LSU is "continuing evaluations" and nothing would be determined until they have finished all their RB official visits. They have RBs 3 scheduled, with more possible.
