According to all the recruiting services Eddie Goldman is actually rated higher than Collins but its almost become an afterthought.
Goldman is SO not an afterthought, at least for me. The Collins recruitment has been more fun, but I want Goldman more than any other recruit we have left on the board.

I'll not post in absolutes like others have, but according to Reggie Ragland Collins called Saban with "good news" today. Ragland claimed he was in room at time of call.
I didnt hear this from Reggie directly, but from a mutual friend who talked to Reggie little while ago.

I'm sure TL recieves his info like this

I'm settling for Kwon and Tracy Howard... With some hope for Mario Edwards... And glimmer for Stefon Diggs (I said this last one b/c the RB infected me)

Aren't Auburn fans real confident about Kwon? Haven't kept up on his recruitment lately.

Avery guaranteed us a LB would committ to us at the game or some thing, maybe he meant Ward? I'm not sure but oh we'll.

Yeah all signs have pointed to Auburn, but Avery Johnson, LSU commit, said a LB at the Under Armor Game will commit to LSU. The RB is now certain Kwon is committing

If Goldman's as good as the services say, then yeah I think he's priority number 1. 6'4 310 pound guy that can play the 3-4 end/tackle, rush the passer and stop the run would be nice.

I honestly hope you get Kwon. He's too small to play linebacker at BAMA, but I want to see him do well somewhere. He'll get better coaching at LSU than at AU.

We can give him a couple of years to develop... And Chavis will make him like Kelvin Sheppard

AND it's not like we have a bunch of scrubs at the safety position now. However, our best DE's will be gone after next year, and I just have a hardon for dominating d-lines anyway.

BOL insider just posted Goldman to Bama. Same one from before. From Boots.

Can't wait for tomorrow!!

Well congrats to Bama if you get Collins. He's a great player. LSU fans wouldn't have taken it well no matter when he would have committed but I question why this kid would seemingly play us and make it ten times worse. It would have just been a Devall thing but instead he's forever ingrained himself in a negative way to everyone that follows LSU football, which is most of the state. Never understand why a kid would do this, especially considering how pro-LSU his family is.
Congrats though, he's a beast.
ETA: Some guys still confident that I trust from the LSU side but it's hard for me to be confident. I haven't felt confident with him pretty much the whole time outside of some stuff earlier this week.

Yesterday everyone seemed to think Collins to LSU. I guess it all sounds good for us lately but I'll believe it when I see it.
As far as him "playing" LSU, has he really said anything at all either way? Just asking, I don't know.

No. He seems to really be torn on the decision. Whichever way he goes, it won't seem like he played the other side.

Too many reliable people saying the same thing. I think I believe.
