I acknowledge that, but is Bryant going to take y'all from 2 wins to a bowl game? I can't see it. I guess if he does, it will be worth it. Otherwise as a Hogs' fan I think I'd prefer to invest in a guy who might still be around in 2-3 years. I don't know.

We won 2 against terrible competition....Barely lost to OM, and were well within reach of TAMU, LSU towards the end of the games.
We have 4 OOC games against terrible competition next season, we play KY after them losing a ton this year, Several other teams lost a ton as well. Our schedule next year. I believe with a fairly decent Qback, we would have beaten OM, Colorado State, North Texas, and one more SEC team for 6 this season. So, with better WR's TE's and Qback.. Better D performance... it is an option!

That is a good schedule to make a bowl. I favor y’all in all four OOC and Ole Miss, just have to steal a game somewhere else.
Do y’all not violate the one P5 team rule tho?

No, not with Michigan bailing out at last minutes notice.

But surely he watched yall....yes, he might make a bowl. But I would think he wants to put good tape together for the NFL. I don't think a 6-6 Arkansas team is the best place to do that.

Well our only other options are to start a senior QB who sucks, a RS freshman or a true freshman. I'd feel more comfortable starting one of the younger guys when they get another year under their belt first.

If he could take this godawful team to a bowl then I think NFL teams would notice that...not all good NFL QBs played on good college teams (i.e. Jared Goff). Sure it would help but to me if you're not considered an NFL type QB it doesn't matter if you play for Alabama or Alabama State. Nick Marshall won a lot but he still wasn't a good enough passer to be an NFL QB.

Why the hell would Kelly Bryant go somewhere to be 6-6?

Because NWA is better than Columbia. Plus, it's not like Mizzou is light years ahead. Our team has been bad, and a guy like Bryant could help alot. I think our best thing is the relationship between him and Chad. He is visiting and building rapport, but he's known Chad more than these other coaches. Also knows what he's getting.

Mizzou is in fact lightyears ahead of Arkansas.
You lost 10 games this year, we're currently ranked in the top 25.
We lose a QB that can be replaced by a...QB
Mizzou with Bryant would be a 8-10 win team with our schedule.
Not fighting for a bowl game.
Major difference. Your program is a dumpster fire.

It's now at 65% to Ms St and 35% to Mizzou

All Barn would be a good fit...the money is better there, also!!

Fairly certain you're just making things up as people in the know say Mizzou is in the lead and Auburn has a chance this weekend to seal the deal.

From perusing some message boards, every fanbase "hears" that it's between their team and somewhere else

Actually.... no. I'm not.

one thing we can agree on, time will tell who is right.

He doesn't want to play behind a crappy OL at Arky. I think he signs with state.

Bryant has stated over and over that he wants to go where he can be trained for the next level and have the pieces around him.
Per Bryant and people around him, MS St leads in these areas and other schools:
1- Coach. Moorhead's history with the pro-style offense and RPOs, and the quarterbacks Moorhead has developed throughout his coaching career(huge plus).
2- Returning over all team. They return a seasoned OL, They return all receivers and TEs and add the #2 JUCO WR. They return their starting RB and the back up. They add the former 2016 #1 RB. They return most of the TOP Defense in the nation (yes they lose a few starters, but they were extremely deep) that will allow them to compete.
3- NFL experience on the coaching staff. He believes he can flourish in the Ms ST system.
MS ST still has a visit left with him
