We have Shrader who is the perfect fit for Moorhead’s system but will be a freshman. Kelly for a year would simply be a serviceable stop gap to allow Shrader time to develop

He had the highest passer rating and adjusted completion percentage on “deep throws” in the ACC in 17.

So yeah, that’s good

All I know is I'm not getting my hopes up if he does land at AU. Learned my lesson with Stidham and high expectations.

How many QBs will be destroyed before they realize that Malzahn can’t develop?

It’s laughable at this point.

Ehh i noticed we havent visited one other juco, or contacted any other transfer. This staff is still recruiting LBers even though we are almost full. We would be handing out offers if we felt poorly about Bryant.

Arizona QB, Khalil Tate. I'd prefer him any day over Bryant if we had a shot at him.

He's not a grad transfer is he?

Tate will be a regular transfer to any school he goes to, thus not counting against any team's signing class just the regular 85. So, technically, we could add both Bryant and Tate, since Tate would have to sit out a year.

I'm not saying this will happen. I'm just pointing out the technicalities.

The ACC wasn't exactly a great QB league in 2017. You had Lamar Jackson, who teams hoped would throw the ball, and a bunch of bleh.

Don't get me wrong; Bryant would be an upgrade for some teams, but many are treating him like he's a game-changer. He's just not that.

Well, yes and no! He will not make a team a NC team in most regards. But he could definitely change a team from being no bowl eligible to a few more wins, aid in rebuilding process and speed it up a year or two.

Bryant would be a huge upgrade over anything currently on the Hogs roster.
