Maybe keep that to yourself or at least keep it classy. We got a warning on the 247 board that all this talk about his mom's looks isn't going over well.

Got nerds downvoting me because they are pussy deprived. His mother is attractive, but all that talk about her has no place on a recruiting forum that they and other parents likely read. Go look at some porn losers.

you are the one that overreacted x1,000. All I said was "Mom's lookin' tight" - that is not exactly going overboard. Quit being a drama queen.

It is simple as that. That narrative doesn't work.
If a CB can't cover players in the Big 12 he doesn't belong in the NFL.

Hard to say. I mean, do they have trouble because the offenses are so good? maybe.

Or it could be that they just don't get the coaching.

Or it could be both. Georgia had no problem with Oklahoma in 2017, nor did Alabama last season. Granted, neither stopped Oklahoma's offense, either. My guess is it is a bit of both. Great offenses and complete neglect of defense.

Oklahoma had some of the worst tackling I have seen. Their defenses took awful angles to the ball, and played out of position most of the game. They did not adjust to what Georgia was doing, and just looked High Schoolish most of the time. Then Georgia shut their offense down after half time.

It's a combination of Big XII DBs being less talented because most of the league doesn't have the ability to recruit premium athletes on defense, and some very tough offenses to stop.

The region is flush with WRs who are tough to cover in the spread, so everyone is able to land them, and most of the teams have good QBs and great offensive coaching staffs

I was happy to walk away with a win, but his and my definition of "no problem" are clearly a bit different.

Real possibility. I am thinking Oklahoma recruited pretty well in the DB category, and we all know Texas has killed it in DB recruiting last couple of years.

For Oklahoma, though, it wasn't just their DBs. It was their LB's, too. After their DLinemen were tied up it was easy. Our RB's walked to the endzone.

As stated above....Texas plays good defense, and maybe TCU, but after them I am hard pressed to find a good, well coached defense.

We were talking about defenses!

Their defense didn't give us a problem.

UGA has a better secondary than TX right now.

Do they.

Texas probably has the best Safties in college football

Sterns
Foster
Jones

Demarvion Overshown probably would start on 95% of CFB teams.
Plus they bring in another 5 star in Tyler Owens.

Georgia probably has better CBs but the gap between what Texas has at S compared to Georgia is big.

Texas is loaded at safety, but has two new starters at corner (Cook, Green), two highly rated true sophomores. They haven't proven anything, but the pedigree is there.

I don't know enough about Georgia's secondary for a comparison, but grading Texas' corners is largely speculative; we won't know how good they actually are until we see them against good teams, and they'll probably improve a lot as the season goes on.

Safties make cornerbacks better.

Would much rather have two All American safties than two All American corners.

Richard Lecounte is a 5* Free Safety entering his third year playing and JR Reed is an All SEC and preseason All American Stronng Safety. I think we can stack up

Cmon man. What has Overshown shown you at this point in time that makes you think he would start for 95% if CFB teams.

FWIW, I’d probably give Texas the edge at DB over Georgia.

The amount of space he can cover.
Sideline to sideline.
I haven't seen many players that can go from sideline to sideline like Overshown.
247 had him rated better than Foster and Sterns in 2018.

Plus he is a headhunter.
