Former Michigan RB commits to State. A 4* and ranked the #4 RB in the country in the 2016 class

KT looked really good yesterday, but it’s Arkansas and they’re pitiful.

Yea. The QB situation is interesting for 2019. I'm not 100% sure Moorhead has faith in Thompson running his offense cause if Moorehead did, he wouldn't offer Kelly Byrant. I don't expect Bryant to come btw. If Bryant does come, I think Thompson transfers. Moorehead has his QB coming in. He followed Moorhead to State from Penn State. I think alot depends on what Kelly does.

Sounds like he’s had a pretty rough go of it. Whether he pans out or not on the field, I hope we can offer him an experience that will make a difference in his life.

On January 14, 2014, Walker’s father was murdered by a family friend. What happened at his father’s funeral, changed Walker’s life and is still a surreal moment to this day. “I was going to throw everything away.” Walker said. ”My coach came in and told me ‘Ohio State offered you, Michigan State offered you, Michigan offered you’ at my dad’s funeral so it was a ton of mixed emotions. I learned I could go to school for free at my dad’s funeral.” More offers followed, but Walker wasn’t focused on the recruiting trail. “I didn’t talk I didn’t smile anymore” Walker said. “I couldn’t be around certain people, I couldn’t trust you because the person who killed my dad was supposed to be a family friend, and take care of me if anything happened to my dad so it was like your best friend killing you.” His junior and senior seasons went by quickly, much of it spent adjusting to life without his biggest fan, his father.

Meanwhile, on the field, things began to look up for Walker. He landed a spot in Michigan’s crowded backfield for the 2017-2018 season appearing in five games for the Wolverines and scored his first collegiate touchdown against Rutgers. Then, things took a turn for the worse once again. Walker’s grandmother died on January 11th of 2018, just four years after the death of his father. “Losing them four years apart and in the same month, it was really difficult” Walker said. He almost let everything slip away if it wasn’t for the people around him “I got a lot of family and friends that stayed around and made sure I didn’t get into trouble and did the right things I had to do.”

??

Granted, State makes a lot more than choklahoma (good job losing to the tsips) in TV revenue, but to what are you referring?

Most SEC schools have better facilities etc than the pac-? and big-? schools.

Are you that thick? Where did I say that? You said JuCo players don't win anyone anything, I brought up an example?

I know we passed y'all in education a while back but did not know it was that bad.

And we have one who has started every game for us on the oline. Everyone loves to push the narrative that every juco player is a thug or stupid when 90% of the time it’s not the case. Juco players are hungry and if you get the right ones you can find some major stars. Some kids just need a wake up call and a second chance and juco is a great place for that and just growing up. After reading his story I hope he balls out for y’all
