I believe it's down to Arkansas or Michigan, don't see Auburn being much of a player.
Kind of expect him to pick Michigan due to proximity, but he sure did love everything about Arkansas on his visit.
I sweat to God, absolutely the most delusional fans on the SEC Rant.

Well I am happy with the kids we are bringing in. I feel they will add some quality to our depth and actually give us some play makers too. I'm looking forward to seeing what CGC can bring us the next few years.

War Damn Eagle Fellas (and AU Nite
)
Cant wait for "spring training" to start to see what weve got!
QB still concerns me a bit... I knew we were in trouble last year when we didnt score a TD in our spring game
This year could be fun again though...love our new hires for coaches and after the melt down the other day On here AU pulled out a top 10 class afterall w/ some real studs

Didn't say we were ahead of you TWO years ago, I said we have passed you NOW. What were the results last year, and likely this coming season?
Since you want to keep this going... Pecking order in SEC West this past year: Bama (even though LSU technically won the West) LSU, Arkansas (where was Auburn?). Likely the same 3 battling it out next year. Where will Auburn be?
Geesh... spent some time looking at preseason predictions on the web for next year, saw Auburn predicted in one as being 4-8, behind the above 3 AND Miss. State and aTm. I don't think you will be as bad as 4-8, or finish behind Miss State. But maybe I'm not giving Miss State enough credit. I do not think it too far out of line that you could finish behind aTm though.
Think what you wish, however.

Auburn's recruited too well to be down for long, and to be honest Petrino isn't exactly tearing it up

Improved record every year he's been here...
21-5 over last two years.
Seems to me he's ripping some folks a new one.
He does pretty good with his recruits.

I didn't say he was a bad coach, Jesus calm down.

I'm calm. Didn't even use any exclamation points.
ETA: Petrino evaluates recruits on more than 'stars'. He laughs every time he mentions how Brandon Allen (our next great QB, no disrespect to Brandon Mitchell) wasn't a 5*. In his opinion, if there is such a thing as a 5* QB, Brandon Allen IS one. Bottom line, his recruits play better than their 'star' ranking.

I remember using that logic when we had Tubs.

Ratings honestly are crap for the most part. Petrino has done darn well at Ark with "poor" classes.

Just stating the obvious, nothing defensive about it for me - nothing to be defensive about.
Believe last years score was Arkansas 38 Auburn 14.
We lose a few good starters on D, but their replacement aren't bad at all. New DC Haynes and Taver Johnson will have them playing pretty well, Haynes did wonders in the short time he was there before the Cotton Bowl.

All I'm saying is that even after replacing not one but two coordinators they still pulled a top ten class...It's goddamned impressive to me.
