It takes 2 to tango straws... Are there shitty UGA posters? Absolutely. Are there shitty posters from every fanbase? Yeah. UGA's recent success has brought out bad posts both pro UGA and anti UGA... if it were UF or UT having the success after falling off a bit, I can assure you it would not look terribly dissimilar.
And, to be fair to "UGA football", this thread has included significant input from LSU and other schools as well... the shitstorm has mostly been fallout from some ill advised LSU fan comments, which would have come no matter what if another program had taken Louisiana kid that they not only wanted but felt they'd get... just the nature of the beast here.
With that said, there was the other thread touting our #2, and later #1 class that was entirely unnecessary.
*This* board, used to involve decent discussion around recruits with minimal trolling... it's just been infected with more "ranty" qualities of late. Would be nice to have it get back to a little more content less fluff... that's all.

It wasn't specifically a response to you, you simply were the last to post. There really does need to be a "general reply" option as opposed to a reply to poster.

fibonis: I'm aware that other posters are part of the problem, but there is a growing number of just outright bad Georgia posters who -- regardless if the rest of the fanbases would behave this way, it's just what it is. I kind of wish tRant had a literal VIP board wherein posters need at least 3 years of continuous Rant activity to be admitted to it.
Otherwise it's just "no u", as evidenced above.

Some get really bothered by engaging in discussions with me because they don’t like being proven wrong. They are thin skinned and often clueless about the subject matter. I wish it weren’t like that, but I have to accept it.

I generally do, because I've been here long enough to know the wave riders vs. the guys who supported their team even when it wasn't as good as it was in 2017. Hopefully there will be some good discussion this year.
