I asked this after the Miami Game and everybody laughed at me. How about now? Or do we have to beat Bama by 100 every year for the next 10 years before some of ya'll admit O is a great coach? :spank: :geauxtigers:

I'm hearing from some of my sources that several of UGA's players had their homes damaged in the hurricane and that a few big names may not be making the trip down because they're needed at home. Kirby is trying to keep it under wraps but the folks in Athens are freaking out.

Just another reason that Coach O is one of the top coaches in college football. This guy is perfect for our school and our state. From the way he talks, to the gameface that he puts on, he's going to be a legend that we get to tell our grandkids about. :geauxtigers:

With Saban getting older and probably retiring in the next couple years, would it be smart to go ahead and lock down O for the next 10 years while the price would still be relatively low to keep the LSU to Bama boomerang that Saban pulled on us from happening again> Thoughts? :geauxtigers:

I think it's a little early, but by the end of the year under Coach O's tutelage I'd bet a lot of other people are going to be saying this.

After this weekend's massive win, and the obvious improvements that we've made over the past 2 years, I think it's time to talk about Coach O's time at Ole Miss. The Negatigers here go on and on about his tenure over there and on the surface, they're right to do so. However, look at the huge success he had at USC, and is having now with us. He's always said that LSU was his dream job, and as we all know Ole Miss is one of our biggest rivals. Am I totally insane to wonder if maybe he's been playing a long game with our administration to ruin a rival's program, go train under Kiffin to polish off his playcalling skills and then come back here and save the program???? Starting to wonder based on how the tigers look compared to those Rebel teams. :geauxtigers:

Hopefully it will be prophetic! I dreamed one time that LSU hired Mark Richt and was good again. Then I woke up and we still had coach O. :violin:

I don't think it really matters one way or the other. One thing I have always said is that scrimmage scores and stats have little effect on games. Once these kids run out of that tunnel behind O, things will be fine.

I've said before on this board, but no one seemed to listen, but I have a source close to the kid that says he still wants to be a tiger. He committed to UGA for two reasons. He love's coach O, but with all the hate out there for him, Emery is worried O will get fired. Secondly, he is getting to know the other UGA recruits, building relationships, and if O is still coach at the end of the year will flip, bringing some of Kirby's guys with him. It really is pretty simple.
